I lived for part of a school year in Tobyhanna PA. A very boring suburban town, then. Dunno if It’s changed since. TV viewing was filled with the OJ Simpson trial, Family Matters, and Rescue 911. I remember going to Knoebels twice during my time there. Recall a giant metal slide (had to sit on mats), little coal fired train, the wooden roller coaster, and the funnel cakes. All in the middle of a wooded forest. It was very memorable place.
I remeber going to Knoebels as a kid when we would go to PA to visit family, always fun loved the wooden coasters.. But Mr.Regular you should come make an appearance at Pocono International Raceway next year.. Preferably the July race.. I"ll be up there haha

Greatest amusement park EVER! I fucking love Knoebels and I am very sad that more of the country does not know it and thus misses out on the most wonderful experience of all time. I've been going there since I was a little kid and will never choose any amusement park over it any day. Also, once I saw the black screen, I knew immediately that you guys were on the haunted house ride and knew that deafening fucking train whistle was coming and it made me very happy. I am now planning a trip to Knoebels for as soon as this weekend. Thank you, RCR, for reminding me of the glory that is Knoebels Grove.
I love Knoebels, my cousins live in Danville, PA and i'm originally from pittsburgh so i've been a few times with them and its just great. Plus i love that you don't have to pay to enter rather only pay for the rides you want.
Glad you went to Knoebels, one of my favorite spots in the state. I regularly send Philly friends with kids there--they've almost invariably never heard of the place, but come back completely enchanted. Hope you stopped at The Peanut Roaster on Rt 61 in Port Clinton on your way home.

There are buildings FULL of ancient fire fighting trucks and equipment cars from the 1800's KEROSENE POWERED TRACTORS steam powered ice cream and steam powered log mills. You will love it!
