Great video, thanks. We just got a 1985 very similar. Thinking about removing the ice box, looking for ideas. 💡

Any issues you have found having it in that enclosed space?

Great job. What size fridge is that ?My dometic fridge only works on propane and if I want it to work on 120v, the replacement part is $150. It’s nice to have and keep it all original but for that $$ I have a few options.

17.99"D x 17.52"W x 19.69"H. I left the Amazon link in the description if that helps.

Hello, just came across this video for a project I’m doing on a 84 jayco pop up. Your camper looks very similar to mine and I’m looking for a hidden vin since my camper does not have a title. Do you know where the vins are located on these? Thanks!

That’s a good question. I don’t think I can find one on mine. I only have it from some old paperwork. In my state of WI I am under the weight needed to title and plate.

No issues with venting the back of the fridge?

Not at all. in my case there is a few inches of room between the back of the fridge and the wall. Also the hole I left at the top for the power strip lets some air in. Second season and so far no issues. Happy Camping!
