love all the ideas you share...I never would have thought to use a stencil to emboss a card (I love multiple use tools)! I like the embossing powder tool you have with the brush...maybe you could add tool names as well as material names?

The black and white background nailed it. Awesome!
I was surprised how adorable the pattern paper card was. The gold embossing really brought it all together. I am totally in love with the lavender snowwoman. I love the first card too, but I kept seeing the tree root base that was colored on the bottom and not in the middle.
I so love it when there is a Cathy whisper. Your copic coloring is a great secret lol. I just adore you Cathy. You always make me smile.
I think there’s so much you can do with pattern paper, and so many of us have pretty generous stashes in our craft supplies.

That masking trick turned out amazing. I like it when you do abnormal things, like the purple banner you add after the video is over. Your shading and blending is really getting good, girl.

Love your cards! Great job! 😊❤️🇨🇦. Some people try a super pale blue on the snow as highlights. 😊. Now that I’ve finally got some alcohol markers I might play with it. I’ve seen it more in watercolour and acrylics.

Can’t wait to see the glitter gel. I invested a lot into Nevis pastes and didn’t use them much. Maybe if they had been glitter. Is there going to be room for at least a small purple banner?your debby tool has been loved, your edges need to be trimmed a little. Thank you for always supporting my hard work!

The cards you made are beautiful. I need to get a Misti. I have never tried to emboss yet. I have many things to learn in card making. I purchased a Joy Cricut back in Sept and have yet to try it. The Joy is the only machinery item I own so far. I do have a heat gun and a lot of other supplies to make cards. The Simon box looks fun. I get a art box that I subscribe to every month called Paletteful Packs.

Card #5 was awesome! Like you, I don’t have much experience with media like that. Of course, I do have some in my stash…unused! 🙄 An added dimension would have been to emboss the stencil in the background layer.

Using grey to darken a color, for instance you don’t have a dark red, use grey, then med red over.
