The storyline of Heff Hardy losing Shannon, his stoner friend, is more thought out than all the storylines in WCW between 98-00 combined. Hats off, Hawk.
I always thought 98 was already a pretty bad year for WCW. But it actually wasn't that bad. There was good stuff and good storylines. The problem was the chaotic main event scene and the changing landscape in the mid and under card for the worse.
I will die on this hill but Norman smiley was the best part of the WCW hardcore division and his match with nobs to be crowned the first ever hardcore champion was just fun to watch

The WCW Hardcore title really wasnt anything tbh especially since the WWF hardcore matches were fun to watch while WCW's was painful and not because of the weapons.
