I went there for my birthday one year. I LOVED that place and it was such a beautiful interior. I was so sad when it burned down and wished to hard they would rebuild it. I did not know it was arson. I thought it was a kitchen grease fire. But then I was very young so maybe mom and dad kept that from me.
From San Pedro, Ca we turned the real ship “Princess Louise” into a restaurant/ prom site/ wedding venue. It was permanently docked under our bridge ( that looks like G. Gertie) for decades. One day it sank out of nowhere. Some say the owner did it for the insurance money. Some say it was the spirits from The Queen Mary ( next town south of us) Who knows 🤷♀️
I have fond memories of Top of the Ocean. Wonderful, iconic, place.

I was just 11 years-old when it was burned down so never got to go :-(.

I can't find much about Tacoma Boat. I think at one time largest employer in Tacoma. Might make interesting video.
Yes it would!
The "organized crime thing" was quite a trip, you should do a whole video on it sometime.
I just shat.
