I’ve driven a couple of these and they are fantastic. In the UK though, they are everywhere!
Here in the states, I go months without seeing one on the road. I like having the only one for miles. I just wish Ford didn't discontinue them here. I envy you Brits.

@@johnnycincocero the fiesta is easily the highest selling car here and about 50% of them seem to be STs. I’ve driven the mk7 and it is such a brilliant drivers car and so cheap to run.

Just some feedback for your channel -
You make some great videos and I've genuinely enjoyed watching them, but these review/test drive videos are really out of place and feel forced. I can happily sit through an entire 20+ minute video of you doing some mods/repairs on your cars, but honestly these videos I either don't want to click, or barely feel interested in watching a minute of. While they may appeal to the younger audience (which I'm assuming most of your viewers are), the rest of your viewers might have no interest. No offense to you at all, but if I wanted a review of a car, I'd watch one by someone who knows what exactly what they're talking about and can go into great detail. One example of this was the vid of your rich mate and his Porsche, that was clearly just an example of just having too much money.
Hope you don't take this comment the wrong way, the Chaser/MR2/Camry stuff is awesome to watch. Keep up the hard work!

I think it's just an excuse to test drive other people's modded cars for free. I'd take that deal every day of the week.
I feel like you should stop being so judgemental and let Rex build and grow his channel. Man literally started off Modding camry's and now he's making videos on his sick MR2 and Chaser while reviewing other peoples sick builds! Just sit back and enjoy the content. People can only start somewhere...

There is no need, it was not built as a drag car. It is not fast in a straight line.
Don't get me wrong I'd own an 86 before owning the Fiesta (because I love small, lightweight cars), but this Fiesta would probably outpace most stock to mildly modded 86's even in the corners. Primarily because FWD is more user friendly to drive on the limit as they predominantly understeer which is far easier to control than oversteer.
@@absolutezero7344 I own a BRZ, I'm not self conscious just sick of people not respecting the chassis. and I beat a Fiesta ST in my old 89 Mx5 na6 running on 3 cylinders. These cars aren't shit, then again it was probably the driver but still. The BRZ/86 would eat this car up. Real men attack corners, anyone can drive a fast car in a straight line. I'm not even going to bother with you anymore. Have a nice day.
@@localtougeidiot1654 I think you need to take a chill pill dude. I drive a 3rd Gen Mr-2 it's slower than a stock BRZ, however I have never found any BRZ/86 (stock or moddified) that can keep up with me in the corners (I have plenty of suspension/chassis mods but no power mods) I'm now at the level of 1000cc sport bikes pulling over and letting me pass and I only have 140hp.
Point is there is always "a bigger boat".
The only cars I fear would be modified S2000's, DC2 Integra's or Lotus' and of course other ZZW30's, all with competent driver's.
is fucking not stock dont expect that loud noise from exhaust and from turbo zzz....

Do it. I just recently did the whoosh hybrid. Still on stock fuel, 93 octane, it rips lol its pissed off several people and still has room to grow with upgraded fuel. Drives like stock, but pulls hard to 6500+. Running Dizzys tune. Its so linear and smooth
So umm I bought the fiesta st a month ago and not gonna lie its probably the best choice I've ever made, yesterday already smashed in a whiteline rear sway bar and cobb RMM and it already feels 10x better, and now I've ordered new drivers side mount inserts and transmission inserts and I can't wait

Love my blue Fiesta ST but the ride is very harsh even on stock suspension on our bad roads, it must have been designed for smooth German roads.
Caradvice found it was more comfortable than a Polo GTI (and I believe that's before they revised the suspension to make it more comfortable). I took one for a short drive on roads that I know, and I was surprised that it wasn't as bad as I thought. Not that i'm used to sporty cars, but I don't believe it's worse than a F15 Series 2 Nissan Juke 😂 (afaik it has the stock suspension).
Install the LSD.

Brilliant little cars, and the latest ones are even better.. Never going to be a monster in a straight line but, that’s not what these are about. Absolutely killer on tricky urban streets and in the twisties.. Mint seeing Nath enjoying himself as well 👍🏼
