    Who are Kara and Nate?!
Watch our documentary here: • 100th COUNTRY DOCUMENTARY
Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went home to “normal life.” We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time. Van life was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

This was such an incredible video! The people in the spice market and the wonderful things you bought or tried made me want to go there, even though I don't think my anxiety would allow being around so many people at once. The hotel was beautiful and the people were so kind and amazing and I'm so grateful that you've allowed us to see the people and places that we would never be able to see otherwise. Your TMI moment cracked me up, because I've never tried Indian food and I desperately want to, but only if I can take it home and eat it just in case my stomach rebels, I'll be in a safe place 🤣 When the woman said "if you dance, then your sari will fall down" was too funny as were all your 'sari' jokes 😂😂The dance party looked like so much fun and I'm glad the staff got to enjoy it as well. The whole red carpet fanfare at every stop just blows my mind, I'd imagine you feel like royalty every time you step off the train. That champaign brunch looked phenomenal! Hi guys. A truly wonderful series. Loved it. Thanks for visiting again. In case you don't know, there are other luxury trains as well in India covering different routes. Also, I believe you have only explored a very miniscule part of India. There are many more things which will amaze you. A lot of people felt their trip to India was a life changing experience because of the spirituality as well as the gratitude they gained for life. I hope your trips have been life changing in some way as well. Also, as I tip, I will suggest that you visit some of the most famous temples of India as well. They will leave you speechless. An example is the Akshardham temple in Delhi, the Siddhi Vinayak in Mumbai, the Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh, the Meenakshi temple in Madurai and so many others.

I have been to Jaipur with family, and this hasn't been our experience. The genuineness was because they truly loved you and liked you Kara! ❤ Also because the universe wished to send and show you some love that day! ❤
There was definitely no artificial behaviour with these people. I have been to different parts of Rajasthan/other parts of India and interacted with people who aren't as genuine or kind, so I understand when people are genuinely sweet.
Sometimes we can get lucky when traveling and meeting the most genuine and sweet people, with no artifice or agenda; and those who simply love being genuine and love their job and hence are so sweet too. ☺️🤗💞
I think this guide in Jaipur was the best, genuine and sweetest guide you had; hence he was able to take you to places with more people who were like him- authentic, kind and sweet. ☺️🤗💞🥂

India will always be a beautiful, diverse, a bit chaotic but full of life n friendly country if you travel with right amount of informations, tour guides etc just how Kara/ Nate is doing. India get bad names when backpackers travel alone with no prior knowledge of the place, with no guides or known locals. Some backpackers just take adventures casually n they ended up complaining of India being horrible or dirty as they don't know where to explore n how.
