ive seen a few people on instagram making a real one with flame throwing abilities. others just co2 rig to make smoke come out. but yeah it's being done! Maybe I can challenge my friend who makes guitars to do one =P

However to save on it I made another video on foam predetailing and now theres the new BlackArt Worbla that requires less priming so youd save money on gesso or wood glue. =]

SuspiciousTumbleweed Cosplay it will never be playable. Real guitars are made from solid wood and have metal truss rods in the neck for strength. If you tried to tension a set of strings on this, it would just snap in half. Still, would make a very cool piece of wall art. Props due 😎
"Bad Ass" would have been to make an actual working guitar. A little let down, it being a fake prop. Kinda cheapened the show a little for me. I could have built a 6-4, 7-4, 12-6. 12-8baratone, or 12-6 double neck fully functional for around 6000.00 in 30 days. And That's out of wood and aluminum. It was a good gig and you did great on it. Hope the best for you and your career.
Sorry, im a prop maker and not a guitar maker. If you guys want me to take my video down i dont mind, this build is pretty old. I just dont understand why I keep getting attacked for making a prop. It's like asking me why i didnt just make a real functional gun. It's because I make props out of foam and plastic for a living. Lightweight and convention legal. Some conventions don't allow real guitars into their doors since theyre mainly made of metal and metal in props is often against con regulations at weapons check.

Seen a vid of a guy building a ukulele with built-in flamethrower. Teaching my 9 yr old niece uke so need to restrain myself on that one lol !

oh noo haha I'm just a cosplayer who made a replica. At the time I made this I only had blurry photos of the guitar so it's not 100% accurate.
