American global imperialistic hegemony is the problem.
Other countries have the right to rise and create better lives for their citizens.
But the rise of other countries is seen as a threat to America, in the same way that slaves who free themselves is seen as a threat to their masters.

first, when factories move out of China, chinese workers will lose jobs. Because they lose jobs, they don't have as much income (the unemployment is increasing sharply in China now), so china cannot boost consumptions (evidenced by falling prices and the switch to low price goods in China now) so their GDP will shrink.
Second, there are rules of origin of goods. If components are not locally manufactured in other countries at certain percent, the goods will not be considered made in that country. So these rules can eventually causes "made in china" to dwindle even more.

There are 150+ countries waiting for the link from China, through the Middle East, across Africa, then across to Brazil, across South America and back to China.
It's going to happen sooner than you think (and just btw, why do you think USA is egging on Israel to attack Iran? look at the map)
"Made in China" won't be a problem. they will set up factories throughout the collective to mine materials and build product. those factories will need Chinese components, engineers, scientists, and workers.
The Belt and Road countries could also be called "The Global South" which should really be called "the Global MAJORITY" (As in well over 80% of the Global population).

The ppl will feel the ‘ kindness to them’ and the karma would been they will become your loyal customer for a long , long time. Tariffs are paid by domestic consumers and not the exporting country, but they have the effect of raising the relative prices of imported products. Other trade barriers include quotas, custom duty, licenses, and standardization, all seeking to make foreign goods more expensive or available in a limited supply.
In simplest terms, a tariff is a tax. It adds to the cost borne by consumers of imported goods.

So is the US more prepared than in 2018. I'm from shanghai. The difference is that right now the economy in china has been bad since 2022, while US economy is doing well. I feel bad for all the chinese young workers, they studied sp hard all their lives and finally finished university like we did, but now are unemployed or are paid even less than those who graduted few years ago. I don't know how they would live if the economy became even worse.

Better than living on debt! Go to California see people live on streets with fentanyl, they don't get fried dumplings from their mamas, they live like dogs literally. If the US economy was ever good, there won't even been MAGA, Donald Trump, now you get a MAGA land because there's no tangible economy in US, they are only printing dollars and having a hard hard time to sell them.
The inflation is going up, soon normal people can't even afford a toilet fix in 2025.

You're not a very smart Asian, I see. The US is going through a huge inflation, while China is going through deflation. China is having a slowdown, but the US is on the verge of a meltdown, so you tell me which one is better.

The assumption is US economy is doing good. I doubt that. Americans are experienced inflation, and higher prices. This can 't be good.

😂😂😂China is so much struggling internally now than in 2018 and no matter how hard they prepare still it would add up to their ruin economy.
