Benjamin Holt, a pioneer of American agricultural innovation, changed the world of earthmoving forever on Thanksgiving Day, 1904, when he tested what would become the world’s first commercially successful track-type tractor. The Holt Manufacturing Company would go on to merge with the C.L. Best Tractor Company to form modern-day Caterpillar. This video celebrates Holt’s legacy of achievement and innovation with a look back at products from the early 1900s to Caterpillar’s founding in 1925.

the tribal drumming in the background totally ruins this clip , you would have been better just using machine sounds of the tracktor .
