Wow! Glad to see people molding window hoods. This used to be my handwork from 2006 after secondary school till I got admitted to UNN and still continued during long vacation at the end of each section. I used this to train myself in school and also finance my travel fees out of naija after NYSC. God bless every diligent hustler.

I love how down to earth you are, honest, transparent and respectful despite all your achievements. My dear you are a full package. 👍👍👍 keep it up
Thanks Flo. Am learning alot from your videos. Am going home in a couple of months to finish my building. Your channel will be with me every step of the way. Thanks again.
The Igbos are very hard working people, leaving in Port Harcourt those days, I will go to Ariaria market and nyahuru Ngwa road market, buy all those vintage clothes to sell to students in my university, it helped me paid my fees back then, I made shoes, bags, jewelries with kente materials in the bags and shoes section of Ariaria market, fantastic craft men there that are perfecting their Art as time goes by, that was way back 28 years ago, since then I have always loved the Igbos, without those trade I wouldn't have made it through university, God bless the Igbo people of Nigeria
I am very happy for you sister, and I pray for you the ALMIGHTY GOD WHO HAS STATED THIS GOOD WORK FOR YOU AND YOURS WILL SURELY CONTINUE TO PROTECT PRESERVE YOU ALL AND WILL ALWAYS FINISH IT IN JESUS CHRIST MIGHTY NAME AMEN AND AMEN

This your guys project you know your stuff you are there make sure these guys get thgs done right way without issues we learn how difficult different in building home and cost of material and laborers from parts of nigeria 🇳🇬 them the states US what will say quality builders laborers + quality material = quality nice build home 🏡 u are a blessing in that community villages around i say this keep it moven gal 🏃♀️🚶♀️💃
Looking very nice, Flo!! I am curious though, why did you not choose those window frames with burglar proof already attached inside the aluminum thingies?
When it comes to aluminium windows, Nigerian materials are stronger and more durable. They are slightly more expensive but they are the better choice. For where to buy them, they bought all the frames and mosquito nets from Onitsha. The glass and rubber from our hometown. I don't know which market in Onitsha because the guy and my brother-in-law went to the market for that. I guess you could hear me telling one his boys that I do not know anything about the windows.
When it comes to boreholes, East is too vast an area to get a good quote. The price depends on the water table in a particular area. The topography of Anambra State alone varies so much that the price varies so much from one village, not town o, from one village to another. In some places in Anambra State you can't even get water at all for example in my hometown Agulu, in my Dad's compound, yiu can't get water no matter how much you dig but you can get water in my maternal grandma's village. In Umunze the last time we asked which was a long time ago they said 900K. The price may be low in another place depending on the depth of water in that area. So to get the best price, ask those who have successfully dug boreholes around the area you want to dig the borehole.
They are all casement windows that's the one you push out. For best ventilation especially in hot Nigeria, casement windows are the best. With the sliding ones, one side is always blocked hence only one side open at a time. For many years I have not seen anyone building with sliding windows.
If you want to enjoy it without ever evacuating the waste for the next 30 years ask your men to fill half side with heavy broken rock. My house of 9 flats for nine families, seven years going not full and it may never according the engineer.
Africa is known for manual labour.the kind of job Africans do manually suppose to earn them so much. But unfortunately when you hear how much they earn after this kind of job you will be shocked.there is strength in Africa.
Did I read unfortunately? These workers earn good money here by Nigerian standards. Unless the person is not skilled. Day rate is low but you see the skilled ones that charge the job as a contract? They earn good money.
Flo, the major things that affect water pressure is the location of the water reservoir (tank) and the positioning of the pump, the type of pump (submersible or not), and the rating of the pump. A competent engineer can accurately predict your water pressure even before actual construction. You might be trying to save cost, but in the end you may not get the desired operation.
We like titles in Nigeria shaa. These guys are skilled enough for this simple plumbing system. Pumps? There’s no borehole here yet. We filled the tanks for the testing. The water goes from the reservoir tanks to the house. And unless you are trying to beef up the pressure from the tank to the house with say a 0.5 HP pump, pumps do not have anything to do with the pressure inside the house. It’s all in the piping work. From how dry the areas were, they did not open up everywhere when they first "tested" for pressure. So I think it’s airlock for the first two bathrooms. If you saw the last ones we tested, the pressure is fine.
@@FloFinance I am not in Nigeria, and I am not into titles either. I didn't know the scenario. A pump can be used whenever there's need to augment the flow of a fluid. If you are satisfied with the pressure great. If the tank is kept relatively full all the time, then you might have sufficient potential energy based on the height of your tank to have decent pressure.
Everything is coming together nicely..... My people we hate to admit anything is easy because saying its easy is almost like you are taking away from the value/worth/price of the work. 😂😂😂
Pure water companies serve a small area so it depends on your area. Ask the people that live there for the best pure water in the area. Usually good pure water should not have taste nor smell.
