You're very welcome! So glad you are changing your health with a low carb lifestyle! I will be making my electrolyte video very soon. If you want to start using ACV, get yourself a good brand and I recommend one tablespoon in as little water as it takes to where you can gulp it down at one time about 5 minutes before you eat at every meal to begin with. You will probably be able to go to once a day and then possibly eliminate it all together if you want over time. It is acidic, So I also recommend brushing your teeth after you eat just to protect your teeth.
I've had gastritis (chronically inflamed stomach) for my entire adult life; I'm now 70. Back before the modern pills came out I was the Queen of Mylanta. Using any kind of proton pump inhibitor (omeprazole and related drugs) makes my pain worse, then when ranitidine (original Zantac) was taken off the market I was left floundering. With so many of us being T2 diabetics, we need to know that neuropathy can cause malfunction of the nerves that run the GI tract, so that upper sphincter can open when your stomach is full, even though it's not supposed to, spilling acid-loaded food into your mouth and throat. Crazy night last night. Had trick or treaters from 5.30 till 8.15. Had to eat between door bell ringing. 🎃🎃 I never had acid reflux in my life until I started taking Ozempic for my type 2 diabetes. Oh my, soooo awful. Thankfully this symptom disappeared after a year. I’m not crazy about TH-camrs who I follow that start without sponsorship, then start using sponsors. LMNT being one of them. Sorry, you become beholden to the sponsors. But in all fairness, I’m sure they may have also been deceived about the ingredients too. Not being a creator, I understand it must be challenging making money/living from TH-cam. Won’t stop me from following. I usually ignore the sponsored product anyway. It’s disconcerting when companies aren’t honest with ingredients. But this falls into failure of government, specifically health…FDA and Health Canada here. The regulations just aren’t strong enough. You should have to disclose ALL ingredients. Because some, even in small amounts, could be life threatening. Unfortunately companies are always one step ahead in circumventing this type of stuff. Did you know that USA & Canada relaxed the rules regarding additives to food in the 1970’s. Back room politics with company contributors to politicians I’m sure. Always sad when a good organic companies get bought out. The products usually get changed. Big corporations gobbling up the competition. On a sad note, I made your protein rich peanut butter. Was sooo excited to try it. Put on super low carb bread. Wowsers, it spiked me. Highest spike Iv’e had since diagnosed with type 2. 😩 Have no idea why? Gonna try again, maybe on some celery. See what happens
Sounds like a crazy night! Yeah, I can just about guarantee with 99% certainty that no one that is sponsored by LMNT had any idea about what was going on. Everyone on TH-cam starts out without sponsors. The sponsors only care when you have a big enough audience and that's when you have to be careful with who you choose to work with. Without sponsors, it's almost impossible to do TH-cam full time. That's why I work full-time and do this. Government and the good old boy system have definitely ruined things. What kind of peanut powder did you use and what kind of protein powder did you use? Have you tested that bread to see if it spikes your blood sugar by itself?
@@southernketo The bread is Weight Watchers, low carb, made here in 🇨🇦. Which has never spiked me. The protein powder is LeanFit organic protein powder. Only 2 carbs per scoop. The pb powder, I have no idea. Because I bought from a local bulk store in town. Loose in a bin. I’m sure if I enquired, the store manager would be able to tell me the brand. Then I could research it. I guess being big on YT can make you a victim of your own success. Companies seek you out for sponsorship. And I totally understand accepting a sponsorship. Because as you said, it helps $$wise. And even doing your due diligence, you can be surprised. As in LMNT. It’s not the first time, and certainly won’t be the last a company fudges information. And I didn’t know you worked full time Victor + doing TH-cam content. That’s a lot. You must have lots of energy, and have a supportive wife and family. 🥰
@@Clarky1951I would definitely ask them. I don't know if you can get the brand I recommended from Amazon, but it does not have any sugar. Most of the ones you buy them in Walmart or whatever have some sugar or even maltodextrin in it. That's the only thing I could figure would be that. I think everyone was surprised when this came out about them. I'm very curious to see who stays with film after their contracts run out... My family is so supportive , especially when I'm testing stuff and it is not good 🤣 My son is one that helps me decide whether non keto folks would like what I make or not 😁
Well, use it up and then I've got other recommendations ... Maltodextrin may not bother you, but I would definitely check your blood sugar to see one hour and 2 hours after you drink it
Sure does. I don't think Paul Bragg would be okay with what they've done to the company that he worked so hard to build. When they put it on the label as a marketing tool, but don't reveal that it's not the original product that was developed and is inferior, I have a problem with that.
I’ve made everything from scratch like forever. But that’s the era I was from. Unfortunately today so many working women/men with families, this becomes difficult. Both my grown married children with children just don’t have a lot of time. They try to cook as much from scratch, you can only do the best you can.
@@Clarky1951I feel like as expensive as restaurant prices are and packaged food, people are working just to eat.. I enjoy doing it, so that's why I do it, but I completely understand that a lot of people can't.
@ I’ve encouraged my kids to do what my Mom taught me. She use to say, if you’re turning on the oven to make a few chicken legs, cook smart and make a large batch at a time. The ovens on anyway, and you can always refrigerate or freeze what you don’t eat. That helped me lots when I went back to work full time. I always doubted what I made. Meat, casseroles, soups etc, etc. Then had something quick to thaw and serve. And I got both kids a instant pot. Man oh man….lifesaver. You can have a meal in under an hour.

Crazy night last night. Had trick or treaters from 5.30 till 8.15. Had to eat between door bell ringing. 🎃🎃
I never had acid reflux in my life until I started taking Ozempic for my type 2 diabetes.

The bread is Weight Watchers, low carb, made here in 🇨🇦.
My family is so supportive , especially when I'm testing stuff and it is not good 🤣 My son is one that helps me decide whether non keto folks would like what I make or not 😁
Yes, they Ruined it. Braggs. I noticed it right away, Then found out they sold it. So I knew. Never bought it again.
Yes! Very noticeable..
Damn I just bought LMNT 🙄😢
Well, use it up and then I've got other recommendations ... Maltodextrin may not bother you, but I would definitely check your blood sugar to see one hour and 2 hours after you drink it
Does it matter how old Braggs is?
Sure does. I don't think Paul Bragg would be okay with what they've done to the company that he worked so hard to build. When they put it on the label as a marketing tool, but don't reveal that it's not the original product that was developed and is inferior, I have a problem with that.
LMNT is too high in sodium, and not enough potassium. 200mg is potassium is only 2% of our daily requirements. Just another rip off.
Magnesium is low also...
Please give us your new electrolyte recipe!!!❤
I'm going to do a video on that soon as well as testing some of the others to see which ones are okay and with clean ingredients. 😁
Hi Victor! 🎃👻
Hi there! 😁
💙💜💙
😁
Quit buying packaged foods. Waste of money! Make your own!
That's what I do .. Saves a lot 😁

I’ve encouraged my kids to do what my Mom taught me.
@@Clarky1951Absolutely! I freeze so much stuff! I make the bread probably two or three loaves at a time cut it and freeze it and that way I have bread whenever I want. The Instant pot is an awesome tool and you can do so many different things with it 😁
