    You should make some videos of your design process. Awesome work

    I love these. I do have a question. I image people would like to hang these outside, does it need to be sealed with something?

      @thatlaserdude  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I recommend people only putting them under covered porches. I have seen them hold you well that way. I’d seal it with urethane anyways. But I still wouldn’t put direct outdoors.

      @@thatlaserdude make sure it’s water based urethane or it will look yellow from the oil! Ask me how I know lol

    Awesome! How much would you sell these for, and where in Ont can you get that Flame paint? I always ruin spray paint by not clearing the sprayer :/

    • @thatlaserdude
      @thatlaserdude  ปีที่แล้ว

      I sell them for $100. Bombingscience.com for the paint

    How do you get an even spray if item is horizontal? I can only get decent coverage if item is vertical,,,

    • @thatlaserdude
      @thatlaserdude  ปีที่แล้ว

      You should always spray with the product lying down to avoid runs

    I'm just getting started in laser cutting, what wood is best used when spray painting and is that 1/8 or 1/4 inch. Thank you, I'm glad I found your channel to help me along here.

      I would use the 1/8-inch. You have three layers and if you used the 1/4-inch it would be too thick and heavy.

    how do u split the image to make em in to 2 pieces, i use lightburn

    • @thatlaserdude
      @thatlaserdude  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s part of the file I design. I provide a split version to make it larger and a regular version. Art is strategically done to make the split abs hide the seam, So not as easy as just splitting it. I use Adobe illustrator 🙂

    Where can the Flame Orange paint be purchased in North America?

    What do you use to glue them together, I know wood glue does not stick to the paint.

    • @thatlaserdude
      @thatlaserdude  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use wood glue. Titebond. Works great

    The edges of the cut pieces will be black from the laser. When you spray paint how do you avoid paint splatter getting on the edges?

      @@jessetutterrow4320 I have never to this day. Had a customer complain about some of the overspray. But if I do want a perfectly clean finish on the edges, you can take some dark stain or paint. It’s just a lot more work.
