i got my lens yesterday, one RS 1 inch , it shows half part of video semi circle is dark , half other portion is bright, with visible stitch line and i shot all video in 85 cm length of selfi stick, so that 19.5 inch topic doesnt make sense as well. moreover, it shows rectangle red colour when it hit sun light. Those youtuber who advertise this lens, doesnt show its flaws and make hype of it.
once video exported... then tried to upload it both on facebook and youtube and it comes out flat... no 360... the support from insta360 is inconclusive... anyone else has this problem? Any ideas how to fix this? I would like a mobile solution... i read on forums about meta special injectors.... but its getting a bit too many steps
I have been using a GoPro for behind the scenes and I got rid of it to get a 360 cam. Would you recommend this one for that purpose? Also, how is it in Lowlight? I know it is not great in lowlight but is it better than a smartphone or GoPro since it has a bigger sensor?
You seemed to have no problem walking with it extended on the selfie stick. I feel like it’s really uncomfortable due to the weight. Does that selfie stick make it easier than when using the Insta360 stick?

I made my first video with this camera and don't know what's wrong.. the audio is stuttering, the video seems to be in slow motion (even though I haven't changed the speed) and the entire video itself is stuttering.. totally bizarre!
Definitely not High! Because High adds a lot of artificial sharpness, which then introduces unwanted artifacts into the video, resulting in bad quality internet looking video. Low sharpness will give you the most natural and cinematic look. And then you can add your own sharpness later if you need to. If you want to, you can use Medium Sharpness as the max sharpness
Thanks for the informative info. I just got my insta360 one rs 1-inch and still learning to use it. I noticed that I can only export a max of 1080p. There's no option to export to 4K. Is this only limited to FHD when exported from 6K video?

I only have sound. Do you perhaps know what the problem is? 30fps or 24fps h264 do not show thumbs and the screen remains black when I play th efiles. Footage from my older One X in 24fps works fine

What is the difference between insv files from the X2 compared to the X that the X2 files are not recognized? Converting to mp4 takes forever
May I ask a question that's not specifically for the One RS 1-inch 360 edition camera? I've been watching a whole bunch of 360 degrees videos on TH-cam, where you can look around by swiping the screen with your finger. TH-cam will show those videos standard in 480p, regardless if you've set up TH-cam to always show highest quality. You can watch them in higher quality, but you have to change it each and every time. Go to the cog wheel and under quality --> advanced you can change it to 2160P and it will show the video (after 5 seconds or so) in the highest available quality. I watch these videos on an iPad Pro and my internet connection is lightning fast, even on wifi. So why are these videos always shown in 480p then? Does anyone know why this is?
I also have the same problem even when I set my video to high some TH-cam videos (not necessarily 360) are show in 480p and I always have to set it manually in higher pixel so the video would look better.
Why turn down the sharpness? And How come you did not export in Full 360? For instance if you don't want it on social media and you want to watch your 360 in VR!
Any sharpness above low is artificially sharp. Medium is ok to use as well if you just want the camera to do it for you. You can export in full 360 as well!👍🏽

BOUGHT IT BUT....'ACTIVATE' = ONLY by APP (for ALL Insta360 cameras!?) which must be installed on HIGH END iOS/Android 'mobile' device! CANNOT be activated via Windows (editing app) or via any browser/web page! Doesn't that REQUIREMENT make the device 'NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE'? Whats more, the APP (installable ONLY on HIGH END mobiles, at least it WILL NOT instal on an LG K51S with octacore Mediatek MT6765 with 3GB of RAM) REQUIRES you to 'turn on LOCATION SERVICES/GPS' to 'find the camera' which we all know is nonsense!
Yeah, the Insta360 evo was $419 but this new one is now $800? I can't live with 200% inflation and I WONT be buying this as a consumer until the prices go back down to normal camera prices. WAYY too expensive for regular consumers.
this is in a class of its own compared to the ONE X2 which i also own. IQ smashes the X2 especially when you zoom in. IMO $799 is more than fair considering it has 2 1 inch sensors with better optics and exceptional low light capabilities vs the X2 which is pure shit in anything but good light. Insta360 still has many cameras from $400 on down to cheaper so its not like they raised prices on all of their cameras...only this one which beats out all other Insta360 camera by quite a bit.

Ace Pro is better in low light. I think ONE RS 1-INCH 360 specialty is mostly virtual tours. A smartphone will perform better in low light too.

Use ViewFinder mode for smoother results. 1080p is max.

depends on what phone and computer you are using. if you have high spec computer and phone then 360 is best.

I did that but it won’t slide off easily at all. I had to use a l wrench to push it out through the hole but that’s not ideal. Maybe I have a lemon ?

Connect the camera to your phone and make sure it gets internet. Then it should sync the date and time automatically

why set the sharpness to low? and is v30 the best memory card to get for micro?
because if there is noise in your video, then the camera will sharpen this noise and it will look worse. v30 is best

When I view, it comes in auto at 1440 and the noise will scare you to death!

On mine, when i go to edit the video, it doesn’t come up with trim, it goes right to key frame….so what do i do?
Scroll to the timeline that has no key frame, you will see Trim option in the far left.
