Hi! thanks for the video. help me decide on a camera. looked through all your videos and can not choose between RS 1-Inch and X3. the purpose of shooting tours for the apartment. would be grateful for your opinion
This video has really got me wanting one of these cameras! I was a VT photographer for several years using a fisheye lens on a DSLR with a lot of extra equipment and expensive yet challenging software, manual HDR merging and manual stitching that didn't always work well mostly due to imprecise mount settings or movement of the camera between shots. This is going to be fun!
I received my 1 inch 2 days Aho and the first test I did washout my home using Matterport and wow, what a difference in image quality compared to my X2, clients will be very happy.
Okay, So glad I watched this video. I hadn't realized Affinity Photo could now do 360 photos. I was about ready to get photoshop for a month to edit 360 photos. This made my day :D
It looks like the RS is the best camera Insta camera for virtual tours, but it also looks like it's now off the market. Are you aware of anything coming as a replacement? Also, although the X4 is less capable, do you think that with post processing and using Topaz it can produce high end real estate tours, or just mediocre ones?
Great tutorial!! If you didn’t want to use matterport for hosting the tours which one do you recommend? Which is the best for the money? Thanks in advance!!
One thing I couldn't understand from the video, from capturing the photos to finishing the photos, the .DNG extension is used, I'm using Lightroom to improve the exposure, shadow and so on, then I save it as .DNG or JPEG ?
Thanks for the video, it certainly answered some questions I had, but one still remains and I'm not sure since this was uploaded 1yr ago if you'll still be watching comments to respond. My Q is, if you do not want to package all of the shots up in a virtual walkthrough but simply wanted to provide the shots suitably named for each room, do you really need a service to host the photo's after the retouch workflow - in other words can you not simply open the JPEG's for each room?
I am confuse, can you unpload your photos to mattaport after edit the photos? because if you use the android app, you have a option that say import 3d scan and 3d views
within this video I didn't see you stitch the video together, as a walkthrough (With the markers that guide you from room to room etc). Is this possible within this software? or do you have to use an additional software program? thanks for a great video btw.
So how would you deliver the 360 photos to a client? I’m really confused about this - so currently I‘m uploading the 360 fotos as TH-cam videos so they can be used on a website.
Thanks for this tutorial. Can you please upload video on how to upload 360 photos on Google street view straight out of Insta 360 one RS 1 inch. That will be a great help. Thanks again😊
Hard to find these types of videos for photos. Plenty for video though. Thanks so much for this. I have subscribed to your channel as I am trying hard to understand this 360 concept.

Great Vid! I've been shooting zillow tours on the Theta V for awhile and switched to the 1" based on your review and others. My question is, are you able to adjust ISO WB and exposure? I was able to change these three metrics with the Theta and with the 1" its strictly auto, and my images are coming out darker and more orange than I want (obviously not editing them either) TIA!
Do you mean in the insta360 app? There is no mode button to click on the Zillow app when using this camera. You can only hide or not hide the scan you’re shooting, no other options.
Does Matterport take advantage of the 'pureshot HDR' feature when capturing through its APP? Can anyone answer this question for me please, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for this vid! So which virtual tour platform do you recommend, after we’ve used your workflow? The purpose of my tour is for a one-time art exhibition.

Hey I am not Ben but I think I can help! It is because the X3 model does not have HDR Photo, but the RS 1-inch does. So that camera has HDR Photo but that the top of the line. The X3 and X2 models have pureshot only which is lower quality but not by much so I wouldn't worry!
What about just using Affinity after Studio and not using Lightroom , 5/23/23 and have you checked out this plug-in,, Best360 Virtual Tour Enhancer FX is that worth it

hey. how did you correct for the curved lines? mine has a lot of curved lines and your final results seems to have the vertical lines mostly staight. is this something when you upload to a virtual tour software it makes the lines more straight? also, seems like insta360 x3 now supports HDR Pureshot too ...

Hi I bought Insta 360 rs 1 1 inch. I shoot some 360 photo with matterport app but when I try to upload 360 photos to matterport, I have an alert: "please take a 3d scan first!". So is there anything about scan options? I see "3d scan" "360 capture" "Simple Scan" "Complete Scan" options. What should I choose? Where am I making mistake? Regards
Matterport requires 360 scans to be able to upload a tour. if you only loaded 360 photos it will give you the warning you received. To the left of your scan button located in the matterport app is option. open options and select 3D scan.
I have a question. How do you sell these virtual tours to your customers? I mean, if we are talking about the subscription on matter port, there you can hold only 300 objects on you account. But if I want to sell virtual tours and make it like a service, how to be in this situation?
When I export a single photo I can choose between "DNG, JPG AND DNG + JPG" but when I batch export it only exports as .JPG Am I the only one experiencing this is in insta 360 studio desktop program? Thanks in advance
Hi there, please check if the pureshot option has been enabled. The photos only can be exported as JPG when the pureshot option enabled. If you would like to export the photos as DNG in batch, please make sure the pureshot has been closed. Please have a look. Thanks!

I'll be going in some tombs and historic buildings and thankfully I've got some time left to experiment with my new toy if I get one. So what do you think can a 60 year old learn a new trick?
Not sure of you already purchased, but the One RS has the largest sensor and will cope with darker locations then the x3
is the stitching line as clearly visible as in Z1?
Yes it is
Look please my other comment, I found out where the stitching line is coming from
Do these not have the ability to shoot raw files? Why is the white balance important?
Hello,
Are you referring to capturing photos in RAW format with the RS camera? If so, RS can shoot footage with RAW format.
Hi Ben, have yuo experienced and disconnection of the insta App while working with the camera?
Hi there, sorry for the issue caused. Please connect to the Wi-Fi signal manually (PW: 88888888) and disable the WLAN+ settings and try again to see if the connection becomes stable. Thank you!
Hi Ben I tried so many things but no luck at all.
I of course contacted the customer service and they suggested after many messages and tries to downgrade the firmware.
If it in The meanwhile you come across any idea please share it 😃
Many thanks again!
Can I use a tripod instead?
Hello, as long as your tripod can accommodate the camera, you can certainly use it.
Once it's exported then what? Nothing happened
Thankyou....
are this insta360 cameras compatibles with android?
Yes, you can check the compatible devices via this link. onlinemanual.insta360.com/oners/en-us/faq/compatibility/app
Hey, did you find out a solution ?
@@Arnaud___ it depends on who is your costumer.
What platform do you recommend to provide a service?
When I export a single photo I can choose between "DNG, JPG AND DNG + JPG" but when I batch export it only exports as .JPG
Am I the only one experiencing this is in insta 360 studio desktop program?
Thanks in advance
Hi there, please check if the pureshot option has been enabled. The photos only can be exported as JPG when the pureshot option enabled. If you would like to export the photos as DNG in batch, please make sure the pureshot has been closed. Please have a look. Thanks!
@@Insta360_Tutorials Can you be more specific? Close pureshot where? it's an option in the camera to shoot in pureshot mode, not something you open. Whenever I export I get two folders of the same picture and they're both JPG never a DNG file.
But this workflow provides a stitching line after export from Lightroom😢
I think if you use the Insta app fro stitching, this will not happen. Either that, or you have camera too close to some object or another
@@peterwithiel7594 I found the problem! It's the chromatic aberration setting. When you set it, a stitching line appears. I tried hours to find out where this comes from.
@@AXISTREK no now the stitching line is not visible?
@@dronteam in Luminar Neo no chance at all, always stitching lines. In Lightroom it works without stitching lines, but turn of chromatic abberation, when you export. Don't turn any auto settings on, just grade and export, than the stitching line won't appear. It took me hours to find out, where the problem was.
It's been 2 months and insta360 rs 1. inch is still not compatible with matterport, the pictures inside are just awful(
Hi there, the latest firmware version of ONE RS is compatible with Matterport. Please have a look. For any questions, please feel free to contact us at service@insta360.com directly for more help. Thanks!
@@Insta360_Tutorials Version 2.0.8.? It is compatible, but the quality of the photos inside the tour is terrible, the settings are just disgusting, the image is bad for this camera... matterport answers that it works in beta mode, so I do not advise you to buy it for work in matterport!
@@makeev888 We are sorry for the inconvenience you've experienced. The firmware for the ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition is now compatible with Matterport. However, since the Matterport app is still in the beta stage for this function, there may be some performance issues with the app's processing. We kindly suggest that you report this issue to the Matterport team, so they are aware of it and can fix the issue promptly. We will also work closely with them to ensure a prompt resolution and provide the best possible user experience. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

well, of course, you can’t say anything but replies and excuses ... the camera has been more than six months old, but it still doesn’t work normally in the matterport ... you are losing the market
The "One RS" Needs a "1 Inch 360° Lens" to film better at night, and to buy separately, why Insta360 doesn't do it?... 😕
I found your height to high
Hey-ch-dee-ahh
Where is the Vitual tour.. This is rubbish. Just bla bla bla . Do i need a special software to still all together to create a tour?
Guys this was the biggest camera tech disappointment purchase i have ever made and i have a heap of gear. I bought it on the hype, it just doesn't live up. The picture is very average and i still think the image is not good enough to mix with hybrid camera footage. It over heats and the insta app is difficult to use. I prefer my older GoPro MAX 360, a much older camera. That is saying something.
The colours are horrible, the image is over sharpened on the lowest setting and it is expensive. Don't buy this camera.
What no one talks about! 256GB SANDISK SD card 4 minutes 16GB INSTA 360 SD card 20 minutes maximum recording time at 6K@30fps at 20C ambient temperature...
Load of rubbish
Whats happened with your English bro ? What do you have in your mouth??
