I feel like the people disappointed with this are probably those of us who followed like all the leaks, because outside of Mario Kart and the Direct we've already seen all this. I still don't mind though I'm just happy to have an official reveal of any kind and an actual date to look forward to. I'm also not putting to much stock into graphics discussion cause it's a compressed youtube video with like 11 seconds of a game that likely is still in development for like the next 4-5 months. Nintendo also has never been about graphics so even if Graphics truly are a little underwhelming having like 24 racers at a time is way more interesting to me then visual fidelity or pixel count. 24 Players is gameplay changing, visuals are not and Gameplay is king at the end of the day. Also that track seems kinda huge which would be cool to have bigger tracks and more players.
I agree, I was also disappointed as I feel we've been waiting so long and this did not give us much. Although expecting it last year as well as keeping up with the leaks definitely played a part in that disappointment. I am excited about the new Mario kart and like the art style. The only real problem I have with the switch 2 is those huge bezels and likely absence of an OLED screen, it was a huge gripe with the initial switch for me and feels like a kick in the face and step backwards after buying the OLED. Honestly upset about this, really wished they had an OLED version at launch I'd be happy to pay extra for it.
@@GabrielBelzile Yeah, OLED would be nice but I do think they're just trying to keep it simple and basic to have as many available and keep the price as reasonable as possible. Then release a more premium model later.
Finally! I don't know whether to be disappointed or happy, I was looking forward to games, specs, release date, I mean we've practically seen the motherboard, the leaks killed the reveal hype train, but eh, I guess we'll have to wait again until the Direct
