It's called the Dark Ages, because in those days, Doom Slayer wore a fur cape and used a shield-saw and the skulls of his enemies as ammo, and he was unhinged. Truly, a dark age for Hell and Demons.
It is honestly a shame Mick Gordon isnt returning to make the ost for it (thanks Bethesda), but I will admit the replacement is really good, assuming this was a sample of his game tracks
Can we appreciate we got the reveal trailer with actual gameplay AAA devs don't do it enough but ID is a whole different beast, bangers every single time!!
Finally someone who managed to do it right. The only other ones Ive seen either made it sound "rounded(?)" if you can understand, or made it sound like they weren't down picking (or some shit idk geutar lingo or music creation) The best way I can describe the feel of this take is it finally sounds like the Saw Shield

They said that "Doom: The Dark Ages" would have a slower but super heavy hitting style/ pace compared to Doom Eternal, but one thing is for sure after having listened to this perfect match of a soundtrack: The demons will certanly not be falling at a slower pace!
thanks brother! i actually relied on the tabs from @ValeraMashkin 's cover to get the notes right. they did line up accurately with the original so i ran with it (and made adjustments and extensions necessary to make an independent arrangement). also, i see what you did with your username. man of culture 🤝🏻

I will also say im a huge fan of your 'at dooms gate x the only thing they fear is you' mashup, the production is such high quality that it feels like it's own theme. You are extremely talented.
not in the same genre but the main riff reminds me of a song called 'insania' by a band called Sirenia. that's about the only similarity tho. you can check out a lot of metalcore stuff if you like the chuggy nature.
