Steve Play ́s es tritt leider zu was ich befürchtet habe, vor 50 Jahren hat man sich ein Auto gekauft und dort stand in der Anleitung wie man das Ventilspiel selbst einstellen kann, heute steht drinnen das man bestimmte flússigkeiten nicht trinken darf. Das mit dem lich ist der selbe rotz, die Menschheit wird einfach zu bescheuert zum Autofahren. Bei meinem xenon sehe ich genauso viel wie mit led, das Fernlicht vom laserlicht ist auch fürn arsch und bei den Preisen sowieso, was mich am meisten ankotzt sind tatsächlich die neuen Autos die wie verrückt blenden (vor allem Mercedes) entweder von Werk schlecht eingestellt oder einfach schlecht entwickelt bzw verbaut (was bei Mercedes auch sehr normal währe)
Da kann ich dir nur einen Tipp geben: Warte lieber auf die Augmented Reality Head-Up-Displays, die demnächst auf den Markt kommen. Die legen die Pfeile auch auf die Straße und die sind auch bei purem Sonnenschein noch gut zu erkennen.
TheSinthuras das Head up ist dann wieder was anderes, das siehst du immer und wie du sagst im Winter bei Sonnenschein und heftigen reflektionen sieht man dennoch alles. Würd ich zwar nicht brauchen weil Brille regelt aber dennoch sinnvoller als das im Scheinwerfer zu haben und jeden anderen abzulenken inkl sich selbst

Had it speced in my e-tron for only $4000. So, only $2000 per headlight if they get damaged. If you can get a used car with the same comfort, power and specs as this for $2000, you're out of your mind.

This irks me. I just bought an Etron with these lights. I payed full price for the feature but only get the light show when I turn on the car and none of safety functions. USA regulations are the worst.

I have not experienced the Audi version of this, but I rented Volvo in Germany that had their version of this, and they were flat out amazing! I cannot wait for this technology to make it to the USA.

This is just brilliant. The only thing keeping me from getting an Audi rather than a Tesla is the software. The moment that Audi gets some better responsiveness/refresh rate, semi-FSD, and general QoL functions on their cars, as well as remove the awful function that requires you to draw the feature you want to use, I’ll definitely go for an Audi.
Luckily no Audis are ramming stationary first responders because Audi engineers know the limitations. I’m using Audis newest steering assist with the Audi A6 and the integration between human and system input is seamless. That is why Euro NCAP gave it a higher score than Teslas. You’re still driving the car yet you are not. No one in the business has such a seamless integration. Try it out and have your hands on the wheels like you are driving and your jaw will drop.

Great tech but im not so sure if the selective illumination is good since people varies with speed, cornering, bumpy road etc. Pretty sure it will blind other drivers.

Eden Levi Selective illumination is not new. Current Audi models already have it, for example the Q8. It works perfectly fine, no one ever flashed me while using it, so I guess no one was disturbed by it so far.
I meeted mercedes with broken matrix led on highway... it was fkng stroboscope. This is very very dangerous for drivers.
Sebastian S. i bumped a few car with selective illumination or so called matrix led. It doesn't work that great since it takes few seconds to adjust the lights and it blinds me most of the time. Luckily my car got that automatic darkening mirror to mitigate this issue but only for rear, i still have to bear the front blinding lights.

Witzig ich bin Testfahrer bei Audi und genau das feature soll noch entwickelt werden, nicht die Rückfläche als Leinwand missbrauchen, aber das die Scheinwerfer die Funktion bekommen Filme abzuspielen. Die Wiedergabe erfolgt über das Infotainmentsystem, Lampen und Linsen von Projektoren sind dort ja schon eingebaut. Meine Meinung ist das total unnötig und ich denke auch Audi wird es nicht zu Ende entwickeln...

I was ready to mock.... but actually the road safety angle is superb. I had a 3 series with an VERY elementary version of headlight control - combination of bulb activation and mechanical swivel - and it was fantastic. Saying that... the arrive home logo projection is as naff as my TT's switching off sound effect.

@@Piranhabites eine S-Klasse ist auch nochmal ein ganz anderes Preissegment, da kann ich schon verstehen, dass die im E-Tron nicht Serie sind.
Wo sind die den Besser? Von der Auflösung sollen die von der S-Klasse besser sein. Man hat bei der S-Klasse 2,6 Mio. Pixel statt den 1,3 Mio. Pixel bei Audi. Dadurch wird noch sauber eine Blendung vom Gegenverkehr verhindert. Man kann mit der S-Klasse sogar Filme anbspielen. Audi hat hier nur nette Anmation gezeigt. Zumindest bringt Audi das Digital Matrix Light schon in einer Preiseklasse, die sich mehr Personen leisten können.

PK 28_12 It is definitely cool.. But for me coolness stops when I think about how it could potentially make the roads less safe, because of the above mentioned distraction.
@@pascalburlet2046 I don't think that it is really highly visible for other drivers, in the exterior shots you could barely see it. I would say it adds safety, especially for autonomous driving features if the car indicates visually that it has found the lanes correctly.
Tobias K Well.. if a driver can clearly see it, then other drivers, whose eyes are at the same height, probably similar position on the lane next to it, can probably see it as clearly as well.. the brightness alone is surely identical.. because physics..
the indication could be done smarter without distraction, and also with something thats more than "black and white"...use a HUD for example, you could overlay it abd it would be only visible to you... or one of the displays you have in the dashboard.. not as fancy but gets the job done (see Tesla)

its cool technology.. this is an example of cool tech thats looking for use cases.. but it should be done the other way around: find unsolved problems, then find the technology that solves that.. dont try to find a use case for cool tech.. its boilerplate
Und auch hier im Video wird der LKW Fahrer bei ca. 1:17 schön geblendet. Macht mein aktuelles Matrix LED auch gern, denn solang die Scheinwerfer vom LKW nicht zu sehen sind, wird das Fahrerhaus schön ausgeleuchtet.
Ist ja auch klar, bei einem kamerabasierenden Lichtsystem was auf Lichtquellen regiert. Wenn die Kamera in der Frontscheibe die Scheinwerfer des LKW hinter der Leitplanke bzw. der Mittelbebauung nicht erkennen kann dann kann auch nicht ab - bzw. ausgeblendet werden. Darum gelten solche Systeme auch weiterhin als Assistenzsysteme. Wobei der Name es schon auf den Punkt bringt, sie assistieren/unterstützen den Fahrer und nehmen ihm nicht die Arbeit auf ganzer Linie ab. Auch moderne Assistenzsysteme haben eben Systemgrenzen und können auch 2020 den Fahrer nicht gänzlich ersetzen.
Sollten die lkws aufrüsten... die meisten haben ja oben auch Positionslichter... die lkws gehen ja auch mit der zeit...
Ist ja nicht unbekannt das alle neuen autos solche Systeme haben... und ich nutze sie auch

Leider bringen die Positionslichter oben bisher nichts, ich habe noch keine Situation erlebt wo das Matrix LED die erkennen würde und abblendet. Aber die Techniker wird da hoffentlich bald besser.
Leider wird sich dahingehend nichts ändern, denn wenn die Kamera die Positionslichter erkennen soll, muss man das System so empfindlich einstellen das es an jeder kleinsten Lichtquelle zu Fehlabblendungen kommen würde was dann zu noch mehr Beanstandungen der Kunden führen würde. Somit ist das ein notwendiger Kompromiss.

Früher hat eine Birne auch gereicht. Und der Fahrer hat beim Fahren noch mitgedacht und das Fernlicht selbst abgeblendet. Bevor das Zeug aus China kam hat eine Birne fast ein Autoleben gehalten. Der Wechsel kostete 1Mark50 und konnte man selbst machen.
Heute halten Xenon, LEDs (die angeblich 50000 Stunden halten sollen) keine 3-5 Jahre und dann muss der ganze Block oder sogar noch - weiß der Kuckuk warum so aufwendige Elektronik - noch mitgetauscht werden. Selbst machen - Fehlanzeige. Kosten mind. 500 Euro.
Und jetzt kommt das hier... Wowo... Nettes Gimmick. Schöner Schnickifatz.
Hält wahrscheinlich keine 3 Jahre.
Fang schon mal zu sparen an, wenn du das Auto hast. Der Wechsel? Wahrscheinlich nur in Werkstätten mit zertifizierten Mechaniker, damit der Kram auch so RICHTIG GELD kostet.
Ich schätze... Unter 1200€ für einen Beamer kommst du nicht weg. Und einer alleine darf wahrscheinlich auch nicht getauscht werden.
Schmarrn. Das Kurven-Xenon vom B6 macht auch heute, nach 15 Jahren, Problemlos seinen Job. War aber auch damals schon von einigen verschrien. Ich weiß nicht wieso, aber manche Menschen finden Fortschritt Partout schlecht. Mir reicht ein einziger verhinderter Wildunfall für die Legitimation von Laser oder Matrix-LED. Das Mehr an Licht ist auch gegenüber Xenon enorm.
