    I have been a bee keeper for 25 years and I have never had honey bees this aggressive even when I was harvesting their honey. This is not the behavior of most honey bees.

    As a person who’s lived life, I can attest that running away and not stopping usually helps with being attacked. Stopping and rolling is for when you’re on fire. It’s not advised to squish stinging bees into your skin by rolling around. By squishing bees they let off even more attack pheromones

    • @maxpro751
      @maxpro751 ปีที่แล้ว +52

      Your over exaggerating the pain caused by these hundreds of bees, when you get stung that many times your bound to have a sensory overload and your body activates a fight or flight sensation which will obviously give you adrenaline. You won’t feel that much pain due to adrenaline masking a lot of it.

    An old bee keeper told me as a rule of thumb that the more yellow on a bee the more docile it will be and the less likely to attack while the more black the more aggressive. The killer bees I was attacked by were nearly all black and they chased us nearly 2 blocks before we circled back around and took refuge in the building where we'd been mowing. Don't stop like those guys did. Keep moving until you find shelter where they can't follow you.

It was because my sibling accidentally stepped on a wooden log (A hive) and it caved in. The bees came out and attacked the person in front of them. (Not my sibling but me) I ran to the nearest car swatting them off of me before my parents got their electrical fly swatter and started going crazy on the swarm. They ended up collectively getting stung about four times and taking out the entire swarm surrounding me. It was a crazy day and I don’t wanna experience that ever again in my life.

    I was a daycare worker and we had the kids in the back of the facility for a water day. The area was fenced in and there was a creek that ran behind us. The city would always have the inmates from the local jail come and they would walk the creek and clean up the garbage. One day there were about 10 women inmates with two guards. The kids were hard pressed to go to the fence and talk to them, saying hi and the boys asking about the guards guns. It was a real small town and everyone was very nice to the kids but we always shooed the kids away to get them back to the slip in slides, etc. After they passed by and were about 20 ft away we could hear a girl scream and then everyone was sreaming.. it was horrible One of the inmates fell into a yellow jacket nest hole. They were trying to pull her out but they were getting stung too. Total mayhem. Guards screaming, the girl inmates screaming, we were trying to get the 15 screaming and crying kids back inside (3 to 5 year olds) It seemed like forever before the ambulance showed up. The girl died. It was horrible.

    My tip as a beekeeper: Run. Don't stay there waving your arms, that's what attract them. Just run or hide

    I mean, people have killed millions of bees with pesticides. Vengeance?

    A number of years ago, while on the beach at Lake Michigan, and the only one there in the early a.m. I was swarmed by Yellow Jackets; and tried running into the water and going under, but they followed me, literally chased me off the beach. I wasn't stung due to swinging my towel and purse as I ran, but it was a very scary close call. Never go alone, because you then become the only target of bees, flies, etc.

    I was stung about 3 dozen times when I was little and to this day I have a terrible phobia of bees and wasps and even anything that looks like one.

    I was swarmed before when I was a kid just walking under a tree. It is no fun whatsoever. I don't remember how many times my brother and I were stung, but the stings were predominantly in the head and face area. It's like they instinctively know to go for that area.
