That plate amp is seriously underpowered for that sub. I'm currently using a crown XLS 2502 (cheaper too) bridged on it as it's the 2nd time that plate amp died and parts-express is giving me a prorated refund. The difference is night and day! I did not cut the enclosure to fit the plate amp for structural reasons. Great video!

People are under the impression that screws actually hold a speaker box together when in reality the screws will break before the glue does. I most certainly would have used Titebond II as opposed to Gorilla Glue, but I suppose it's only what you have in your area or easy access to. I most certainly am not doubting your build at all because two came out absolutely beautiful. What is the tuning of the enclosure and how much power is on it?
Looks amazing! Next time put your duratex on with a hooper like what you would use to texture the walls in your house with. It will look a more even. Good job 👍

Please provide L X B X W measurements..this could help us building our own. Without mentioning the measurements there is no use of sharing a diy project. Try to mention them in discription

Check partsexpress.com. That looked like one of their diy kits. The mdf comes ready for assembly. Just add your sub and plate amplifier of choice. Dayton audio makes real good stuff. I've been running one of their 15" subs for 20years. It still bumps the pictures off the walls!!!!
