I've watched 2 of these uploads tonight with the Barney Miller cast, and Ron was REALLY good at this. I'm surprised he didn't make any further appearances.
However there was no pause between Carrots and Vegetable. That's illegal. I remember Richard Simmons on another episode using "Romeo and" for Juliet with the same lack of pause and it denied the contestant the big money at the endgame.
THIS IS NOT ON THIS AREA "NBC NEWS 5 WCYB-TV Bristol-Kingsport-Johnson City VA-TN." The Ownership of Lamco Communications, Inc. (and now THE SINCLAIR BROADCAST GROUP.)
These all stars week of SP were nothing special. Half the time the celebs all played for the same charity, so there was really no competition. And I think GOodson and Co. gave out $10K or more of extra money each week to boot, may have depended on how many bonus rounds and Cashwords were won.
Millionaire killed the celebrity contestant format by over doing it. People want to watch normal people win money. Also a lot of people don't trust charities.
Love seeing these guys
Cool.I loved this sitcom and always thought Wojo was cute.
Wojo, remind me of Opie. Barney and Ron, is cute.
RIP Gregory Sierra (January 25, 1937 - January 4, 2021)

Gregory Sierra rocks at this! 🎶🎸
Hal Linden was one of the celebs on the Password All-Stars final game that is on the trading circuit.
Gregory is so cute
I would have liked to see Steve Landesberg and Ron Glass on here, and Abe Vigoda.
Or even Barbara Barrie, who played Barney's wife Liz on Barney Miller
I think it was great he was the reason I each it he human mistakes make it even more fun cause he didn't take it too serious everyone else did
RIP Ron Carey.
It's okay to use more than one clue for a word if you take a pause between each clue.
And whirlybird is one word.
March 8 is my birthday
RIP Bert Convy

Nice too hear the full cue of Super Password the closing since GSN scraped it.
Umm... Not quite sure how you can say that. He's one of the best. He messed up occasionally, but they all did.
That's weird. From 1:54-1:59, the CBS audience applause was used. What is up with that?
I wish Freemantle when they remake these game shows from the 70's and 80's just keep the original format.
This game show spent way too much time chitchatting and not enough playing the game without Bert giving away the answers a lot of the time.
Barney Miller ended in 1982.
hmmm, they used the CBS canned applause on an NBC game show? that's weird.
anyone else notice that at :33 Hal Linden pushes little Ron Carey off the stage 😬 what was up with that?
Did Barney Miler go off the air in 1988?
No. The show went off the air in 1982.
Do you have one from March 7, 1988?

Since when do people not trust charities? Don't forget, celebrities are normal people doing their careers like everyone else.
