    I loved this show when I was a kid. Anything my dad watched, I watched it with him and that's why I loved this show. It will always give me those memories.

    Brilliant show and all the main characters were great and many side actors were great also. These guys left the world a much happier place so thanks to all those involved for the many years of laughter that I have had and still enjoy watching now.

    Danny Arnold was loud, insane, flamboyant..and a hell of a good storyteller. He knew exactly what made 'Barney Miller' work and what didn't, and to his credit, Season 8 (the final season) has top scripts. A very rare case of a TV show bowing out while still at the top of its game.
