My grandma is very offended. She personally hand picked the old formula’s scent. 😂 lol appreciate the thoughts man! We wanted to keep it very familiar to those who enjoyed the product and tweak it slightly to make it a little better.
I was really looking forward to your review for awhile, but I ended up getting the new Monarch before your review dropped. I am really happy with the new Monarch, and I think the new scent is a kind aloe/soap scent, very slight and unoffensive. Definitely happy with the stronger hold too. This might be my favorite overall styling product now.
I really like that it can perform good on its own. I still almost always use prestylers, but if you are required to use one to make a product work, it feels like a scheme. And THANK GOD the smell is fixed.
@@nickpierce6877 to be fair I knew alot of people who didn’t need a pre-styler with monarch. I think it was just hair type specific. But my hair always needed it. The change was nice to see- and yes that scent was absolute golden girls 😂

Unfortunately you don't have access to RareCraft products from Poland to test. I want nice volume and something that makes my hair look a bit thicker or fuller.

@@evanterng198 ahh yes! I did a full year as an intern mental health therapist until I graduated with a masters and a license as a mental health practitioner. I then actually stayed on at that drug/alcohol rehab facility and worked there until my daughter was born. I then left that to stay at home with her and continued working on content and Dauntless.

I think monarch for everyone has a bad hold. It has decent style but it only last maybe an hour
