I watched this in the Norwich end as Dad was a Norwich fan(I support Ipswich!)Ironically Dad took me to my first game at Portman Road when Ipswich played Derby in 1980 & Paul Cooper saved 2 penalties! .What I remember about the baseball ground was that it was surrounded by terrace houses & the pitch was like a ploughed field !
Paul Cooper had a good reputation for saving penalties because he nearly always dived the right way. I would have taken him to Spain for the '82 World Cup as no.3 behind Shilton and Clemence.
Martin Tyler's commentary said it all at about 2.30. Despite what Schumacher did against France in the World Cup, FIFA still discouraged referees from giving straight red cards for what Chris Woods did to Kevin Wilson.
It seems hard to imagine that that Rams team couldn't keep out of Division 3, but defence was the problem for many years until Cox became the manager. Reeling from the reckless spending under the Addison/Newman era didn't help either !

oh bobby,bobby..bobby,bobby,bobby ,bobby davison
Great finisher for the Rams and one of their few bright lights in a very dark period. Kevin Wilson was a good lad as well.
