My parents took me to my 1st game at the Baseball ground when I was 8yrs old
It is heart warming to watch this amazing team beating the Arsenal

The best team Derby county ever had thanks to Brian Clough and Peter Taylor and not forgetting the great Dave McKay.
I was so blessed to be a football mad teenage boy who got to see these truly wonderful players rule the top flight of the English football league for more than half a decade.
The first season derby county were promoted to the English first division they hammered all the top clubs of the day 3 4 and 5 nothing.
The team and management were all one big happy family and the baseball ground was were it happened.
The team of such quality and fair play never to be found again.
Thank you all for such wonderful times.

I remember this horrible week as an Arsenal fan- after this match Arsenal lost at home 3-0 to Norwich City in the league cup after a Graham Paddon hatrick. Still finished 2nd to Liverpool in the league that season although losing to Sunderland in the FA cup semis was rough.

Hugh Johns' broadcasting made everything wonderful. I always looked forward to the games that he was on. This game in particular.
Brian Cluogh teams always played great, and as tough as they were they always played within the rules and fair. He would not have tolerated unsportsmanship from his teams.
RIP to Great Hugh Johns and the Great Brian Clough and Peter Taylor.

Hinton outstanding in the superb league winning team of Clough and Taylor. He won 3 England caps between 1962-4, but on that form maybe he should have won more. Reigning double winners Arsenal defence and Wilson at sixes and sevens.
