That swivel frame is 100 years old. From the 1920's. My grandmother's wedding photo was in a frame just like that one! ❤️❤️❤️

The wire holder WAS originally made for jar candles. Yankee candles featured them first, I think.

The wire holder with a wood handle looks like something you would use for canning jar to remove them from the hot water.
I dont think so. You normally wouldn't can just one jar.
The wire holder with the wood handle is a decorative piece from the 1990s I believe. I used to have one just like this that I kept a antique ball canning jar in.
Lots of great treasures. Before you do anything with the Tinker Toy canister check it’s value in its original condition.
In love with that dough bowl! I think it's even better with the big crack in it and I would totally use that as my fruit bowl too
I have a big enamel ware pot like that it’s old it’s yellow with the dark handles I love collecting enamel ware trimmed in red
I have a small table like you got for the baby's room and I painted the top with chalkboard paint. The black actually acts as a neutral more than I thought it would. I keep a small container with colored chalk on it and can't believe how the children love to doodle for hours!
That little wire thing with the wood handle is a candle holder. Popular in the 90s. Looks real cute with the mason jar!
I found my TV remote a year after the loss. It was packed away with Christmas!!! Yes, it now has a designated spot!

I think my favorite piece was the blue and rusted galvanized bucket thing. That would be so awesome painted white with a something IOD on it and lavender. Eeeekkkkk! I love it! Also, the little table and that big basket, oh my goodness!
Those cigar boxes would look great on an old desktop. It could hold collection of old fountain or calligraphy pens, or "collections" like baseball or playing cards, pocket watches, old photos, etc. OR use for tablets, journals, chess set, etc.

The wore holder is for mason jars when you are canning food.my grandmother uses them all the time
I don't think I can pick a favorite. You found so many great things. Love the wood spoons/utensils, the New Orleans photo, the chicken and chicks print, the white enamel pot, the brushes, and that basket. Great finds. I have a wood wheelbarrow that I put my cloth pumpkins in that I was selling. Would work great for spring potted florals too. That glass bucket is an ice bucket. I believe it used to come with tongs to pick up the ice.
The hand carved ones are like the ones they sell at Allegheny Treenware. They are really expensive. LOVE them!
The jar you had in the hanging thing is what Maxwell House instant coffee came in about the 70's. The wooden bowl is what people used to use to make biscuits in. Hence the name "dough bowl".
I could see that jar and stand filled with tulips in spring, wildflowers in summer, dahlias and leaves in fall, then epsom salt, sprig of holly, a couple mini pine cones and a big cranberry electic candle "flickering in jar for Winter.
Sherry from Canterbury Cottage used a Tinkertoy box for a small Christmas tree, it was very cute. She used the tinker toys as decorations as well.
I would have definitely painted that little table for your daughter in chalkboard paint!
That is a wallpaper brush. You spread the "glue," which was usually Argo cornstarch. The other one, looks like a boot shining brush, but it may actually be what you used after you put the wall paper up, to get the wrinkles and air pockets out. My mom always wall papered, and I seem to remember her using both brushes.
I would see if that turquoise paint could be removed from that metal vase. It would look beautiful that brassy color all over!!!
It is hard for me to choose which one is my favorite. The two that are my favorite are the table and the basket. I believe that I would have chosen to buy almost everything that you showed. I am in love with your channel. I also watch you on Facebook. You are so talented at seeing what something can be. Thank you for sharing all that you share. Thank you for the idea to go to stores in order to be inspired.
One of the things that I am thinking of doing is to buy underlayment and ship lapping my office/workroom. I saw the Facebook video where you used in your foyer.

You can ship books via media mail, which is usually significantly less expensive than other methods. It can take a little longer, but the savings is worth it!

I have a swivel frame on my dresser. Did original piece of art and left vintage/antique frame. One of my fav items ever!

I would love to find a clear glass frame on a stand like the one you found. The IOD butterfly transfers would look awesome on it! It would look like a butterfly collection.
You can refinish the brass bucket by stripping the clear finish with stripper then painting it with purchased patina solution or cider vinegar and salt.
Oh Girl- those bins- there is one 20min. from me. I walk in a train whistle blows- everyone plasters themselves against the wall- the train of carts are marched out- then the train whistle blows- and the people-they JUMP on the carts and it's like zombie land feast. I still can't get over it and I haven't been back. But.......I'm itching to try it again.....hehehehe

Ms Julie I live in SW Illinois and I thrift quite a bit. I found the exact same round table for $2.00. I painted it an off white and stenciled it with a huge round stencil in a muted brown paint. I use it as a side table in my hearth room. I also found the same exact metal watering can for approx $1.00. I painted it to look as white enamel with red highlights and I use it to place florals. I love it.

Awww…. What a cool thing to have of your grandfather’s - I have my grandfather’s pocket watch and a pin he got when he retired from General American Oil Co. - I had he jeweler add a top piece so I can wear it on a chain - it’s so nice to have family treasures like that

I use to have the wire holder with wooden handle. They were made to hold a glass jar candle.
I have one of the candle holders with the handle and also have one of the galvanized tray that you were going to use for remotes, using mine for my silverware, I put small mason jars in it for my spoons, forks and knives!

The tobacco boxes would make nice jewelry boxes. You could even use if you hold stationary. Put it on a beverage bar to hold tea, coffee, hot cocoa. I could think of so many uses.

My favorite item is that large basket!
Soak a towel in white vinegar and wrap it around the strainer and cheese grater. Leave them wrapped for a couple hours and check to see if they are rusting. If you want more rust, leave them in the towel for longer.

The metal thing with the handle was a candle holder i worked at a store called country clutter this was the decor we used.

Books can ship as media at the US post office. I paid about $20 to ship a pretty big box of books from Hawaii to Colorado.
