Watching you two is so much fun! And yes, you can get a fine if you don't validate your ticket. I had it once that a guy had a ticket he just bought and did not validate because he was running late. Control charged him 60€. That price varies depending on where it happens and what distance you are traveling.
but you can see the prices that it is not a supermarket but a gas station. In the supermarket, water is still the cheapest drink in Germany. but in Berlin anyway only beer is drunk anyway. Even on the street you only see people drinking beer.

I am a “Berliner” and actually it’s not allowed to sit on the slabs there are police officers (I think) to protect the memorial and tell people to be respectful but sometimes they don’t see everything and some people don’t show enough respect to the victims like the girl and the boy in the Video
Actually in the supermarket and in the pubs beer is always more expensive than water maybe you saw that at a gas station but yeah water is like btw 50 cents and 1 euro 😄

@@IntAffair No problem! I'm sure the locals would want to find hidden spots or something but I'm going soon and these are very useful tips on how to travel there on a tight budget. Plus you guys have nice voices and talk at a good pace, random thing to say but I often click away if people have a nasal voice or speed the video if someone talks slowly haha
I'm currently saving up with my girlfriend to do a giant world trip similar to you. (Currently have about 7k saved and putting aside 1k+ a month). I was curious how much money you saved to travel. Also great video! Your editing is really good.
We are in Berlin right now. And we just got a shit load of beer for 7 euros! And one time we got busted riding the trains with no tickets. 3 under cover guys jumped up when the door closed and check everything body for tickets. Ended up costing us 60 Euros a piece. lol I’m from Alabama
LoL I've spent many of Euros in fines and if not paid you will and I mean WILL end in jail for about 10 Euro a day. I have heard of people doing years for not having a ticket lots and lots of times. Ticket is definitely worth it.
