Dear Elyssa, taking a moment to truly thank you for all of your generous advice and ideas. Because of your support, we had the most beautiful time in Rome (and Florence)! From booking with restaurants, to a Colosseum tour, to the Extra Time tour at the Vatican, to arriving before the crowds at Saint Peter's Basilica, to our Necropolis tour, to praying at Saint Paul Outside the Walls, to booking with the Uffizi, Duomo in Florence, and seeing our "rock star" David (as you've called it), we most certainly could not have had such an enjoyable trip if it were not for your guidance. Thank you for your generosity and heart. With all our love and appreciation, Mike and Carrie
Dear Mike and Carrie, Thank you so much for you extraordinarily kind comments. I am so grateful you took the time to let me know you found my content helpful with your trip planning, and that it made a difference for you! Yes, David is a rock star in my view, and in more ways than one!! :) Thank you again so much - it really means a lot to me to hear these kind words from you. - Elyssa
Hi Elyssa. We always look forward to your videos. We've been to Rome 9 times and everytime we think we've seen everything there's always more to see and do in the Eternal City. This video proves it. We totally missed the public latrines and the fresco on the Medieval church in Largo Argentina and the numerals on the Colosseum. The history of Emperor Domition was very interesting. Thank you for all your research and the beautiful camera work. Wish we were there. Can't get enough of Rome😅
Thanks so much for letting me know you find my videos interesting and helpful - that is my goal! I'm always really happy to share new things, especially with seasoned travellers who know Rome really well. I myself am always discovering new things, and that's why I love to share them!
I just got back from Europe. Was there for three weeks on a cruise. Your videos were so helpful in planning my days in Rome!!! Thank you so much!!!!! ❤❤❤
I’ll be heading there in December. I’m really looking forward to it. I visited Rome 30 years ago with my Mom. I loved it. This year, I’ll be sharing beautiful Rome with my boyfriend who has never been there. You’ve given me such great advice and suggestions.
Oh no!! I am really sorry to hear you had your phone stolen - that's a terrible feeling. But I know you love Rome and I'm glad it doesn't stop you from visiting!
You're having the same problem that many people have! Either way, you can't see it all. No matter what you see and do, it will be great. I'm glad you find my videos helpful!
Hi Elyssa another wonderful video and we followed your suggested walks from your previous videos to see all of these great places for free we also saw the Pope on Sunday 16th July. You really hit the spot once more with this guide.
Hi Peter - thanks as always for your kind support. I'm glad you enjoyed the walks I suggested in my other videos. Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed this video, and please stay tuned for part 2!
Excellent suggestions! There are in fact many wonderful free things to do in Rome. It’s an open air museum! You’re right, the aqueduct park is really one of the best!
We are going to Rome next week, the 23rd of November and my wife and I would love to spot you doing a vid...lol. We love your information and will be using many things you've suggested. Thank you so much !!

I absolutely love your videos. I am learning so much before my trip to Rome this coming July2024. I will be coming to Rome for my Honeymoon and we look forward to everything Rome has to offer. Is there any way of paying you to do a private tour for my new wife and I ,or do you know another local that can do this? i am from USA and Only speak English so any help with trying to get this set up would be wonderful. How can we get in touch with each other?

hi elyssa i'm going to Rome in November and I've been looking at booking some attractions and I noticed that for many places there is a reduced fee from between 18-25, I am 25 and I was wondering if this means ages between 18-25 or does it include 25?
The reduced fees are for Europeans who 18-25 years of age, 18 and 25 year-olds included. If you are European, then the discount applies to you but if you are not a European citizen, then it doesn't.
