I like cynthia, she gave me quite the fight in both BW and BW2, it wasn't as difficult as people describe, but it was definitely harder than any other battle at that point in the games😊
In the original gen 4 games, she was an absolute unit. As someone who has played every pokemon generation from 1 and beyond, she is definitely the biggest challenge of any Elite 4 champion.
Cynthia team is probably the best of all champions i mean for the gen she was introduced all her pokemons are meta, have good movesets, great coverage and great synergy

If we talking in battle, then no. He is one of the few champions to pretty much just use 1 type, and despite his name, it's Steel. But he does use a lot of rock pokemon. A Fire type and a Steel type can would do very well against his team If it's opinion size, then yeah, it's your opinion

@@randompersononytig I get that, but they can still work if you put coverage on them to balance it out, not saying it’ll work all the time, but steel is good because it’s hard to counter a steel type with moves like rockslide and earthquake when using fire, or metagross having psychic for fighting, as on his grass Pokémon cradelli and scald/hydro pump (don’t remember which move armoldo had) for ground and he’s a good champion, Cynthia is only better since her team is multiple types and Garchomp is by far the strongest pseudo legendary in Pokémon by a mile, and that makes her tougher, but Steven is still a better champion in terms of how his team is set up to counter weaknesses, though skarmary can’t do much when it comes to taking hits from electric types and he has no counter for electric types
One thing about Wallace, idk about you guys but I heavily relied on torchic and rayquaza. He was a beast against them. Grass types were also fairly vulnerable as many of his pokemon had ice type moves. Yeah steven was the better champion, but Wallace wasn't that bad.
Would Red count as technically he has canonically beaten both Kanto and Johto’s Gyms but dipped to train. Kinda funny how excluding the anime Red and Ethan (or Gold) are the only trainers to canonically have more than 8 Gym Badges.

I like cynthia, she gave me quite the fight in both BW and BW2, it wasn't as difficult as people describe, but it was definitely harder than any other battle at that point in the games😊
In the original gen 4 games, she was an absolute unit. As someone who has played every pokemon generation from 1 and beyond, she is definitely the biggest challenge of any Elite 4 champion.
Cynthia team is probably the best of all champions i mean for the gen she was introduced all her pokemons are meta, have good movesets, great coverage and great synergy

Steven slander is real, he's the best champion by far
If we talking in battle, then no. He is one of the few champions to pretty much just use 1 type, and despite his name, it's Steel. But he does use a lot of rock pokemon. A Fire type and a Steel type can would do very well against his team

@@randompersononytig what you factor out is his team has Pokémon that deals with his weaknesses, metagross for fighting types, skarmory for hazards and to set up hazards, his other Pokémon help too, i struggled with him despite having fire mons and only beat him after I got Kyogre to learn scald, he’s harder than you think since he has moves that counter most weaknesses like rock slide and armoldo with water moves

@@randompersononytig I get that, but they can still work if you put coverage on them to balance it out, not saying it’ll work all the time, but steel is good because it’s hard to counter a steel type with moves like rockslide and earthquake when using fire, or metagross having psychic for fighting, as on his grass Pokémon cradelli and scald/hydro pump (don’t remember which move armoldo had) for ground and he’s a good champion, Cynthia is only better since her team is multiple types and Garchomp is by far the strongest pseudo legendary in Pokémon by a mile, and that makes her tougher, but Steven is still a better champion in terms of how his team is set up to counter weaknesses, though skarmary can’t do much when it comes to taking hits from electric types and he has no counter for electric types

One thing about Wallace, idk about you guys but I heavily relied on torchic and rayquaza. He was a beast against them. Grass types were also fairly vulnerable as many of his pokemon had ice type moves.
Yeah steven was the better champion, but Wallace wasn't that bad.
Would Red count as technically he has canonically beaten both Kanto and Johto’s Gyms but dipped to train.
Kinda funny how excluding the anime Red and Ethan (or Gold) are the only trainers to canonically have more than 8 Gym Badges.
Technically (games) , Cynthia could also have more than 8 badges because she is seen in both unova and johto.
