Gliscor could actually have his Poison Heal Hidden Ability with a Jolly or Adamant Nature to increase Speed or Physical Attack while lowering its Special Attack since its a Physical Attacker. I believe that Jolly would be better because it could have higher speed and out-speed quite a lot of Pokemon. It would *decimate* quite a few opponent's Teams I'm sure.
its cool all his pokemon have some sort of cutting and slashing theme and each of them have one except tangrowth, so over solar beam it could have solar blade so it continues with the cutting theme and all his pokemon look like they cut and slash hard and even though it sucks, since there are also small trees everywhere it would be funny for a champion to have cut on one of his mons for convienience and so it would be funny to give tangrowth cut over energy ball ad it goes with the cutting theme

I never had problems with his Weavile. The Gyaridos in Pearl almost destroyed my nuzlocke. Rip Nami, Thistle and an unnamed Golbat. 😔
@@FireflyOnyx you just need to be ready for those. All it takes to take the two out is a fighting type that can take damage and a fast electric type/pokemon with thunderbolt that isn't electric type
@@Metawire61 I had a Pachirisu, but discharge with a magnet only did about a third.
@@FireflyOnyx yeah, it also depends on level and stats of course. If that pachirisu was low level it wouldn't deal a lot of damage, and it's special attack stat is 45. Pretty pathetic at that point in the game against a gyarados. Most electric types tho will not only be fully evolved at that point in the game, but also have high (90+) attack/special attack stats so they will take much more damage and deal much more damage. Pachirisu is an outlier because it's a low stat-total, fully evolved mon, which is very rare.

14:45 If i were to choose a pokemon in this situation I would have chosen Drapion because its dark typing would have handled the ghost weakness and is weak to only ground which Gliscor with his STAB Earthquake can handle. And most probably I would have negated the flying weakness because Gallade with his STAB Close Combat could handle the flying weakness. I know that Gallade is weak to flying because fighting types are 2x weak to flying but flying types are also 1/2x weak to fighting. It is risky but every champion should take risks. Now with Gen 9 mechanics, Gallade has Sharpness which boosts the power of slicing moves by 50%. If BDSP had that ability for it, a good moveset would have been: Psycho Cut and Sacred Sword for STAB, Night Slash for coverage against opposing Ghost types, and Swords Dance to boost Attack. I forget if PC or SS has a high-crit chance, I know NS does. If at least 2 of them do, I'd maybe use Focus Energy instead to make the chance with those moves 100%
Psycho Cut does, and Sacred Sword ignores Defense stat boosts which is something crits also do.

This video popped back up in my recommendations and I decided to try something similar, but for Kalos. My team wouldn't have a type specialty, but would have an overarching theme of more intimidating pokemon. Also, I would go somewhat down the route of bdsp and give my pokemon useful held items, but most not too crazy. My lead pokemon would be an Aggron with Sturdy, Reversal (Gets it as an egg move by breeding with Rhyhorn), Rock Polish, Iron Head, and Rock Slide, and he would have a Liechi Berry for a held item. Next I'd have a Drapion with Battle Armor, Toxic Spikes (Very few Champions use entry hazards, with Steven being the only example I can think of), Knock Off, Cross Poison, Protect, and Black Sludge as a held item. Next I'd run Salamence with Moxie, Outage/Dragon Claw, Fly, Double-Edge, Fire Blast, and a Yache Berry. Then Gengar with Levitate (since it's Gen 6, he'd still have Levitate and not Cursed Body), Confuse Ray, Sludge Bomb, Energy Ball, Shadow Ball, and Wise Glasses. For my 5th pokemon, I'd have Ninetales with Drought, Heat Rock, Confuse Ray, Will-o-Wisp, Flamethrower, and Solar Beam. Finally my ace would be Houndoom with Unnerve, Houndoominite, Nasty Plot, Flamethrower, Solar Beam, and Dark Pulse. And to those who say "You don't have any Kalos pokemon", Lance doesn't use any pokemon from Johto in his champion battle in the Johto games, so I think it's fine.

Funny that I used all of those lines on playthrough teams except for Gliscor and Tangrowth. I used a Scyther in most Kanto playthroughs, Togetic in Silver, and Gallade and Weavile are Sinnoh must-haves (although I quickly box Weavile when I catch a mascot legendary due to 4x fighting weakness)
