the thing about this mod that ive noticed is that francia is...really weak. In the 5-ish games ive played so far they've gotten absolutely rofltstomped by andalusia within the first 50 years and then never challenge them again. Similar issue with the nizzarids, theres no counterweight to stop or even slow their expansion. This puts sicily in an interesting position, as your entire mission tree focuses on expanding into nizzarid, andalusian and italian HRE territories The other rather fun/torturous campaign im going through right now is theodoro, which has a mission tree that gives perma claims on almost the entirety of europe. And by almost, i mean only russia (the ingame region), scandinavia and the isles are safe
Francia was hit very hard by the recent combat changes in 1.33. Previously, it was not nearly as bad as it is now, but I am working on some AI tweaks which should help them a bit.
@@hashtagrex what does that mean? it picks stuff for you based on what u do? i mean they could kinda have generic mission trees that change the nation & provinces depending on which nation it is... so instead of england having to conquer provicnes in france it would just say jaisalmer has to conquer provinces surrounding it... it could still have the generic format but seem less generic cos it picks stuff based on the nation.. maybe thats what you meant by dynamic? i find it hard to explain what i mean. a programmed thing that says if this happens then this happens.. if its this nation then it says these state or this set of requirements etc. im not sure it would be a huge amount of work to do every nation its more likely they dotn want to do it cos it wont make them much more money unless releasing 10 nations at a time as a dlc...

It's funny because "Anglish" looks more like the french word for "Enlgish" which is "Anglais", and even some french as a funny way to tickle fellow britains write "Anglish" sometimes.

Laith, no idea if you read these, but I have a quick question/challenge for you. I have a small pool of mods that I use, and I've edited a couple of them. The question is do you want them and the challenge is to use a Balkan nation and beat the ottomans. This is not to say that I made all of these mods just that I pooled them and use them in concert with each other.
Is it possible to install this mod on older versions of the game, or are there at least older versions of the mod available? I do not want to switch away from the current version I am playing on, but would like to try this mod out at some point
Yes, the old flag looked good but it wasnt fitting at all. The flag featured the cross of St. George, a patron saint of the Norman England, who was known as the Dragonslayer, and having a Dragonslayer on the flag of the Anglo-Saxon England makes little sense.
I was thinking about new playthru ideas you could do. I've noticed that most of your videos, you start in 1444, and you generally only play for 50-70 years right? I'm assuming that is because the game gets more boring to play and watch after 100-200 years? More rebels, more bureaucracy, more stuff to do that isn't as interesting to watch? Or maybe its just not challenging enough for you because by then you are already a big empire and every war is thus easy? Instead of modding to make it more interesting, why not start at a later date? The world is different, with different nations and new challenges. Some nations are huge and much harder to beat. If most of your videos only last 50-100 years then it doesn't matter if you start in 1718. You could play as Native American tribes trying to stop the Thirteen Colonies. Or a revolutionary nation in the Americas... Or an African nation trying to stop the Colonial nations from getting a foothold in Africa... Small Indian nation against the Mughals... Arabian nation vs Otto... Japan Vs Qing... etc etc
The francia color is disgusting I wonder if you can form Frankish empire and if you can will your capital move to Antwerp or Aachen I think that would be cool
Francia has a full mission tree where you can either unite the HRE, or you can conquer Western Europe and reform the Frankish Empire. The color is still yellow, though a few shades darker.

Although it's small I really like the detail of the Anglo-Saxon griffin being on the shield of Britania rather than the three lions.

i think the individual missions trees do make the game better.. i just wish that theyd add a unique one for every nation in the game
for every nation is a bit of a big ask. theres 966 unique tags in the game. what needs to be implemented is a dynamic mission system
