Archer is an FXX original animated, half-hour comedy. The new season revolves around the international spy turned hardboiled private eye Sterling Archer and his quest to find his partner’s killer in 1947 Los Angeles.
The case proves to be more difficult than expected after Archer quickly gets mixed up in a deadly game of tug of war between Los Angeles' most powerful crime bosses. Every clue leads Archer further away from his goal and deeper into a mystery involving kidnapping, prostitution and drug addiction.
The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin as the incredibly vain private investigator, “Sterling Archer;” Jessica Walter as the veteran crime boss and nightclub owner, “Mother;” Aisha Tyler as the sexy lounge singer and Archer's crush, “Lana Kane;” Judy Greer as the clueless heiress to a vast publishing fortune, “Charlotte Vandertunt;” Chris Parnell as a crooked detective hell-bent on seeing Archer dead or in jail, “Detective Lieutenant Figgis;” Amber Nash as Figgis' partner and occasional muscle, “Detective Sergeant Poovey;” Adam Reed as the saucy band leader, “Ray Gillette;” and Lucky Yates as the club's bartender/heroin dealer/Nazi scientist, “Krieger.”

They don't hate each other, more of tolerate each other, like a bizarre "family". "Listen I sort of like you enough to put up with your crap, though the only one who can hurt you verbally, emotionally, and physically is me, and no one else."
The gang was heavily inspired by the family in "Arrested Development".
Makes sense. Funny how Jessica Walter is in both "families".
And is basically the same character in both. Especially once you consider the ending to AD.

Well...he DID distract the guy Archer was fighting...
Its kind've heartwarming how the entire group, even *Mallory*, was offended for Pam (well, I think we can presume Cyril was also offended, even though we don't see his reaction; its harder to say concerning Krieger, since he seemed out of it most the time - like he pretty much always does). Plus am I the only one who thought Pam looked kind've adorable when she cried into her hands?
I agree, it's sweet that they care enough about her that they'd brawl someone who mad her cry.
Eventhough Mallory helped in the fight. I don't think she was offended for Pam. You see @0:15 she agreed with that with him calling her Baby huey

This is why I respect Adam Reed. He creates characters that not only do we care for, but they also care for one another. (In this case, getting pissed when Pam is called Baby Huey.) If anyone on Family Guy called Meg that, Peter would just laugh.
Especially Peter circa Season 4 to now. The Peter of the first three seasons would've gone apeshit

i just watched this episode last night it was freaking HILARIOUS
This was one of my favorite episodes of the series. I also love the elevator episode from season 6.
I love how archer immediately assumes that his mother was the one who was going to try to seduce that guy. He knows his mommy so well! 😏😂
I love how even with those bodyguards around him, Ray still would've kicked all their asses given his cyber enhancements.
But he still don't remember that. That's why it's so funny.

Easily the funniest scene between seasons 4 and 10, in my opinion, up until the episodes written by Mark Ganek. ("The Leftovers" "Mr Deadly Goes to Town")
I wish I could find the song that plays during the fight. Archer uses a lot of music from the '60s by Jack Arel and Pierre Dutour, and while I've been able to locate other songs from the show, I cannot track this particular tune down.
