That ambient jam was beautiful, just a wonderfully simple harmony with great subtleties in the modulation. These jams are definitely one of reasons your channel is quite special. Thank you!
I think I have alt firmwares installed on most of my MI modules (if available). I love how most of them add and not subtract from the existing features.
for the SAM setting. try running the modulation threw one of maths attenuverters to maybe get the words more clear? sweet jam tho! always love your content
I think that the most underlooked feature of this firmware are the 2 new algorithms (square and sawtooth sub oscillators) that aren't even mentioned in the firmware manual! NOW I can use my braids to get nice phat bass leads!
Was thinking if I should keep my braids...after watching your videos...I absolute should be. ha. I'm also thinking of parting ways with my beads as I just can't get my head round it but im on the fence now ha
I can see some of these cord algorithms, but I did not like the word one. I really liked what you did with the original sounds. These videos have really painted braids in a new light for me. There are some similarities, but I see braids and plaits as different Oscillators.
I also have Renaissance installed. Bees is too crowded and not really needed when you have a bunch of other modules. Renaissance seems like a nice balance of usability vs simplicity.
My Braids will no longer sit quietly in the corner and will shine again thanks to you! Nice to see you in one of the Superbooth walk-around videos
Ditto that !
Updated Braids today and it's got a whole new life now.
Spent some +4 hrs trying various patches - very cool update!
That opening jam is fire!

Really love the music in this one and plenty of smart modulation ideas too. Thanks for sharing 😊
my brother just got me an MFX. i apparently love your setup
Brilliant stuff again 😎
I'm sure you could make awesome sounds out of a bin liner and two rusty spoons... 😉🤘
You got the con plague. Classic. "It just helps you remember what a remarkable experience it was." That's a direct quote from Thomas Jefferson, BTW
Dude, nice work as always. I never thought of using vosim algos as you demonstrated, thanks for sharing!
Very nicely nice! 🙂🙂
Cheers, bostin as ever, ta

How do you sync the ko so perfectly to the modular?!? You should also review bees in the trees firmware which is absolutely crazy good.

I don’t think I knew about that!

It took me a while to get to grips with Beads but I love it now. Braids is a beast!
Sounds incredible! Thanks for this. Now, where to get the renaissance firmware from. I need chords!!
I'll add a link to the description. Done :)
Ahh me too, I have a really hard time getting actual words out of the SAM modes 3:16

I haven’t installed bees yet, but I watched a couple vids and it’s definitely not as appealing as renaissance.
Does the Renaissance also work on the through hole version?
can we get some bees in the trees please ?
Good shout - I'll add it to the list!
