That’s a brilliant idea of utilizing reverb on an arp to make chords! Ooooh, cannot wait to try that! Wonderful and thoughtful ideas and sounds as always!

I really love what you do with such small racks ( that are pretty much always based on same modules) , your channel is a cure to GAS, great music doesn't need much gear but a good musician in the first place. thanks
It‘s just great how your patches always sounds so epic! ❤ Love it! Maybe a bit more detail about your patches would appreciated so I can understand and follow a bit better. Keep it up!
Superb stuff! At around 8:30, when you’re altering the cycling function, I’d be very tempted to modulate the rise & fall times with a couple of random outs from Pam’s… In fact, I’ll be trying that very thing after work today. Great vid man, cheers!
Always nice insights in sound design! Also really smooth and "organic" playing. Always amazed by how you program simple and effective drums. Are you planning to make a video about it? I'd be really interested in some drum programming knowledge
Great patches. I’m building a Eurorack FX rig, probably why this video got into my feed. I’ve been busy trying to get some of the MI modules before they become hard to find. Got Plaits. Also found a new Beads and Rings. I’m planning to feed guitar and bass into my rig too.
Love your videos, very stylish and nice talks. The LoFi is not my thing but the other effects were splendid. For now I do effects in-the-box for cost reasons.
@@TheUnperson just saw there’s two slots for power supplies - is that the behringer CP1A? So I just need another flying bus board..? Excuse my ignorance
A bit of everything really! The bands I played in were mostly kinda prog stuff like Tool, The Mars Volta, Dillinger Escape Plan. But still play acoustic every day ☺️
@@TheUnperson Fear of a Blank Planet is a killer album. With Richard Barbieri doing the keys, you can't go wrong! Your fx demos were also awesome and definitely in the same creative landscape. Cool stuff 😎
@@TheUnperson can never get enough. I run my effects that run through pre-effects into some effects so they can be polished off by my effects chain before they ever hit my main effects and output effects. Then possess in DAW.

You really have the best sounding Plaits on the Planet :).
Very glad you approve ☺️
I know what you mean. I have the ALA Beehive version and it sounds shite in comparison to this one.

Great video, surprising how a little bit of modulation can take a humble delay and reverb to a whole new level.thanks

Data Bender still my fav one ❤️
Great minimalistic rack. Sounds superb.
That pad sound at 4min was epic 😍😍
love the table!!
It is a lovely table indeed!
@TheUnperson Did you build the wood case?
Love your work! I accidentally had this vid running 2X at around 6:30 Sped up version sounds dope. Give it a try!

Flipping heck Ali, that's outrageously awesome. Loads of techniques there I wouldn't have dreamed of.. 😮😊
Very glad you enjoyed it!
@4:00 What the actual fvck!!?? Need to try this myself.
Inspiring and educational. I was wondering how you can play the melody over the arp. During the reverb demo?
Thank you! It’s the arp which is creating the melody :)
Great vid again!!
Cheers Bob!
Nice! I am exploring Convolution at the moment. Is there any module u have capabel to load IR’s?
3:30 Cheesy? That's practically Photographic.
What mixer do you use to record these videos or do you run it all directly via DAW? Cheers
I have the zoom L-12 which both a mixer and a 12 channel interface. So I record the individual outs from the mixer into Ableton.
What’s the mfx and data doing. Think I missed it??
how were you able to power so many modules with the behringer power supply??
Theres 14 power slots with the behringer power supply :)
@@TheUnperson just saw there’s two slots for power supplies - is that the behringer CP1A? So I just need another flying bus board..? Excuse my ignorance
@MelonSprout yep it’s the CP1A, and it comes with 2 bus boards :)
thanks! mine didn't ship with two so I'll grab an extra w the affiliate links

WOW
There might be something in the water here but someone asks if the M in MFX is the one in ALM, or possibly Mother, as in Mother FoX
I’ve never actually thought about it! I wonder if it’s the same M in their oscillator module the MCO
@@TheUnperson Mother... Cooks!
@@TheUnperson Perhaps I’m a simpleton - but isn’t MFX simply… Multi-Effect?
On the MCO, M is for Morphing. @@TheUnperson.
@@TheUnperson Yes because that could stand for Mother COw probably
What heavy band do you play in?
It was a long time ago now but I was in a band kinda inspired by the Dillinger escape plan, tool, the Mars Volta kinda styles :)
@@TheUnperson Love that stuff! What was the band name?
What music did you play as a guitarist? 🤘

@@TheUnperson Excellent! I was always into Porcupine Tree. 🙂
@jurgendabeedin441 I had an album of theirs. I can’t remember the name but there was a track called Radioactive Toy. Great album.

@@TheUnperson on the Sunday of life? First one I think.
You need more effects. 🤪
I do have more, but you’re right, I need even more!

@Qwiv yea I do all that too but then run it through my post-DAW effects.
@@TheUnperson good idea. Then maybe a few pedal effects just to make sure.
My Beads is (currently) dead😢
Nooooooooo 😩
