Living in NJ, over the years, I've daily driven the six C5/C6 Corvettes about 10-months out of the year and on average 10,000 miles a year. Back in 2008 use to drive my C5 with a Magic Stick 3 Cam LG headers with no Cats from Northern NJ into Manhattan everyday. Other car alarms would go off daily in parking garages. More recently, would daily drive my C6 ZO6 to Secaucus train station, leaving my house at 4:45 AM. Never needed coffee that early, because driving that car would just wake you up. You live once, and life is too short to drive a daily boring car. Corvette's are such great daily cars.
I picked up a 2008 in Pa 2.5 years ago with only 6,008 miles on it. I sold my C7 with just 7k of mileage to my son. No regrets! My Z06 is the same color of beautiful blue. Still have just under 9k on it. Had another C6 Z51, so I sold that to my daughter. My Z06 will likely be my last Corvette of 6. Still have my C3 that I purchased 30 years ago. Quite sharp, as well.

I used Black Stone Laboratories they read oil at 3 oil changes and at 22,000 miles called me. They saw titanium early at low levels. But a big jump at 22,000 rang the bell. I had the heads off at my expense invited GM warranty Rep over to see the heads. He said they look good. Then we pulled the springs off and the intake valve simply fell out of the heads. He agreed they were bad and authorized new heads and valves and labor and parts. $7,000 and saved my Z06 engine. Dennis
