I have never seen this type of art before and I am amazed! I need to see a slow version of your process…going to check out your channel now. Thank you!

Hi! I hope you find what you need in my videos. I tend to be concerned that realtime footage will be boring, so I usually speed it up. Please feel free to ask questions. I plan to put out an instructional video soon. Also, I put another artist's video in my Community tab (Annie Greene). She describes her very different process, which she freely shares, and comes up with really great results. Thanks so much for your interest and comment!

This is so creative! I love it. May I ask what weight of yarn you use? Thank you so much for sharing with all of us! 🤗❤️

Thanks Maria. It's such fun! I use a wide variety of yarns. I love mixing thicknesses as well as colours, etc.

So glad that you said that, you diversify the wool: it makes it easier:
Gosh you work fast.. ha! ha!

I've done similar art with sewing thread, but it was more of an accent on illuminated pages ... and far less intricate ... you do stunning work

    • @fibrescapes1111
      @fibrescapes1111  ปีที่แล้ว

That sounds interesting. I'm imagining gold metallic thread. I'd like to see that. Thank-you for your support!

@@fibrescapes1111 As a matter of fact gold and silver were in the mix ;-)

Каким клеем Вы пользуетесь при создании картины? Спасибо.

Hello Nadja. I use an artist's gel medium now, but my first few pieces were made with white glue.

Would you be able to show us a slowed-down version of the way you work!

    • @fibrescapes1111

I thought I would do so at first, but then thought it would be boring 😴
I will try to incorporate some real-time footage. Good idea. Thanks!

@@fibrescapes1111I’ve asked for that on other’s videos. The rapid pace makes the process look easy and quick to do IMO. It skews reality, of course. Slower parts would be helpful to make the process look humanly possible. 💜

Hi Mara. I'm sorry for the late response. Your last comment didn't show up on my usual list. I have an idea to accomplish this. Thank you! 💐

Are you using gesso to under the yarn? Beautiful

    • @fibrescapes1111

Thank you. I do use clear gesso on the board.
