Tristan Baker Far Northern California near the city of Redding. The trails basically cover the entire west side of Shasta Lake over to the Trinity Alps.
dorkus98 I have 3 ATVs: the Raptor 700R the YFZ450 and a Banshee 350. Raptor has a TON of power in both low and top end but is the heaviest of the three. YFZ450 is lighter so it is more nimble and can have better acceleration since it is so light. Banshee 350 is a screaming two stroke, twin cylinder monster that will gladly rev up into the high RPMS range for days. The top end on the Banshee is incredible but being at two stroke it does not like being lugged in the low end.

I'd get there in person and it would run fine for the person selling it. I'd take it home and have to rebuilt the motor or something. You guys should hit up a trip to belfair, washington the trails are more difficult and its perfrect riding condition in september october. Me and my dad go up there every year with his raptor 660 and me with my 350

keep in mind you want to really watch where you are its easy to get lost in the woods first time we went riding they changed the trails so we got lost and 3 hours later and a little directions from some people we were back in our camp.
I replaced the started and the starter relay only to find out the battery I had just bought was a defective one. I returned the cyclegear battery and got an oversize one from wal mart that barely fits inside the quad.

Loved your video. We have the Razor XP 1000 and Wildcat X ATV's and we appreciate them, they are well built and hold up excellently on our Nevada trails.

Lamar Jones its really all preference. Some guys like the big burly 4x4 atvs and others like the lightweight sport quads. Both have their advantages. I like hitting water bars and hill climbs, the sport quads like the banshee yfz450 and raptor 700 are all great machines but can be pricey which is why I say look for a used Yamaha warrior 350 as they only cost 1500-2000 for a decent running one with electric start and reverse.
Heck yeah. Loved Cali when I was living there. Had a few chances to ride there but I was transferred a little too early to experience all that was wanted.

Soulex Swords and Weapons Cant go wrong with YAMAHA. My YFZ was a little stiff at first but then I got some +2 arms up front and longer shocks off a YFZ450R and that improved the ride a lot.
TrailBlogger yes I run trinity stage IV racing dasa dual Exhaust system it made of mild steel also add power commander +2mm throttle body 12:1compression piston hot cam stage 2 when I bought a trinity pipe I had to change everything pitson cyclinder carb to meet the flows need. I gained to 64 horsepower.
+I vote for truth democrats tab Wow that must be a mean 700. Mine just has a single Trinity Stage IV can out the right side with a Trinity fuel programmer and a pro intake with a clamp on K&N. I'm actually not sure what's done inside them motor, haven't had it that far apart yet. When I got it the thing looked like someone had rolled it off a cliff into a lake and just left it there. Bent steering stem, bad wheel bearings, bad rotors and calipers, inside of the throttle body was turd brown. I'm actually going to be doing a restoration video here soon on it. Would like to get the motor rebuilt someday but for now just glad the thing is running again!

quick question guys so Im trying to get my first atv and Im not looking ito spending too much money my budget is $2000, because I have bills and a mortgage that would the most Im willing to spend right now on it, I have a street bike and Im also 26 so I know how to ride...ok so the question is would I be able to get a decent quad for that price?? idk anything about quads I just dont want to get a piece of crap that will be breaking on me all the time...is that a reasonable amount to get a decent quad? Im in the new england area
I bought my first yamaha warrior 350 for $2000 and rode it for about 4-5 years. they aren't the fastest but they will climb anything and run forever on 3 gallons of pump gas. great all around quad to learn on.
Definitely have to buy used.....first time I recommend any 4 stroke quad....going to be an older model but they last for ever....check the oil ..and look to see if around the metal on inside looks gunky or dark...if it looks fairly clean it is most likely good....when you start it listen by the engine for knocking or clacking sounds if you hear that don't buy it.....prob a bad rod n piston.....but you'll be pretty safe with a 4 stroke....and by the way.....you can get a brand new 250 cc or bigger for that price if you don't mind the Chinese quads.....but some maintenance will be required by them....tightening bolts nuts etc....even if you were to spend another $200-$500 down the road for modifications it is still a brand new bike and you can customize according to your preferences.... Plus you can get a warranty .....unless of course you modify then that voids warranty....I live in new england too....north east part of Massachusetts.... Been riding since I was 6 yr old......very fun and never gets old.....Craig's list has some great buys I bought a Kawasaki Lakota for $850.... Just recently....its a 300cc....but I saw other quads that were really nice for like $1400 to like $2500....really nice bikes.....hey good luck.....
Appreciate your opinion there man but I have to disagree. DO NOT BUY CHEAP CHINESE ATVS. Spend a little more and get a Yamaha, Honda, or Suzuki. The cheapo knock off Chinese quads do not last and can be impossible to find parts for once the dealer goes under or stops selling them. Just my two cents, thanks for watching and leaving a comment though.

quick question guys so Im trying to get my first atv and Im not looking ito spending too much money my budget is $2000, because I have bills and a mortgage that would the most Im willing to spend right now on it, I have a street bike and Im also 26 so I know how to ride...ok so the question is would I be able to get a decent quad for that price?? idk anything about quads I just dont want to get a piece of crap that will be breaking on me all the time...is that a reasonable amount to get a decent quad? Im in the new england area
I bought my first yamaha warrior 350 for $2000 and rode it for about 4-5 years. they aren't the fastest but they will climb anything and run forever on 3 gallons of pump gas. great all around quad to learn on.
Definitely have to buy used.....first time I recommend any 4 stroke quad....going to be an older model but they last for ever....check the oil ..and look to see if around the metal on inside looks gunky or dark...if it looks fairly clean it is most likely good....when you start it listen by the engine for knocking or clacking sounds if you hear that don't buy it.....prob a bad rod n piston.....but you'll be pretty safe with a 4 stroke....and by the way.....you can get a brand new 250 cc or bigger for that price if you don't mind the Chinese quads.....but some maintenance will be required by them....tightening bolts nuts etc....even if you were to spend another $200-$500 down the road for modifications it is still a brand new bike and you can customize according to your preferences.... Plus you can get a warranty .....unless of course you modify then that voids warranty....I live in new england too....north east part of Massachusetts.... Been riding since I was 6 yr old......very fun and never gets old.....Craig's list has some great buys I bought a Kawasaki Lakota for $850.... Just recently....its a 300cc....but I saw other quads that were really nice for like $1400 to like $2500....really nice bikes.....hey good luck.....
Appreciate your opinion there man but I have to disagree. DO NOT BUY CHEAP CHINESE ATVS. Spend a little more and get a Yamaha, Honda, or Suzuki. The cheapo knock off Chinese quads do not last and can be impossible to find parts for once the dealer goes under or stops selling them. Just my two cents, thanks for watching and leaving a comment though.
