In today’s video we head out of the homestead for the second time in less than a week. The van is packed up and we are heading to north west Wyoming for a few days. This first day on the road was filled with no shortage of excitement as we run into wildfires, and snow along the way.
Our struggles continue in finding camping spots in Colorado.
Driving through the incredible Colorado Rockies made the day enjoyable despite the challenges!

That coffee pot is a percolator. You fill the chamber with grounds, fill the pot with water and as the water boils it percolates up through the hollow straw and falls down through the holes into the chamber. It then settles through your grounds and brewed coffee comes out the bottom of the chamber. You might get a few grounds that settle to the bottom of the pot but the top holes shouldn't have coffee coming out of them :) It's seriously some of the best coffee ever.
OMG...the coffee pot is a percolator. You but water in bottom, coffee in holder and the water shoots up through the top over coffee grounds. Makes the best coffee ever!

Hi Kyle and Jenn! We had wildfires coming in from California yesterday. I had trouble breathing it in. Nice camping equipment you bought to cook with. I had a chicken burrito myself yesterday for lunch at Del Taco. It was so big I couldn’t finish it so I brought it home to eat later. Glad you found a camping spot after Kyle and the kids played in the snow in June. You have to take pictures for sure for memories. Happy Father’s Day Kyle! Stay safe and safe travels. It was a fun scary...lol bc it was June. Glad Kyle is a safe drive and knows when to turn around. We had 4 wheel drive and it was still slick. Lol.

WOW ….. Leadville, Colorado… I’ve been to a lot of places, cities, towns in Colorado… Never to 10,152 FT… Leadville, Colorado… Cool 😎 👍 ❤ But, I still Love ❤️ New Mexico more because it’s less High and New Mexico Mountains are a lot easier to handle than the Rockies in Colorado….
