If you can afford it 4x4 is the way to go! If you can't budget $30K Action Van Suspension for $3500 installed is a bargain! Whatever route you go get out there and enjoy your build! Overlanding/Camping and both of these guys took their vans off road for the first time.
When you Edit the video quality on the youtube settings. it looks incredible. Definitely recommended playing on highest video possible. At supper highest HD and fps your videos look incredible bro!
Both were going to make the meet my buddy with the Ambulance was ready to hit the road but got Electrical issues day of the meet and my other buddy had to work. I showed them where we camped. I'm glad we had a great crew. 0 trash left.
Easy work for both of them. My buddy with the Pleasure Way Class be lives out of his van 6 months a year and got it lifted to get into this. My buddy with the U-Joint 4x4 said he didn't spend all this money to just look cool at cars and coffee and wants to start figuring out where his build can go for middle of no where camping. This is a great starter trail.
Are those a nominal 33" tire? or a nominal 35"? I like the 4.10 gearing; just did that to my '16 F150 4 X 2 but there are no decent lockers yet for the 8.8" Super 34-spline so I had a Detroit Truetrac installed instead. So far, so good. What "locker" are you running? Vans look great! and if I wasn't already in my effonefiddy I'd be lookin at a van! Cheers.
Off-road rated with a van silhouette. You know I can make that happen I have some silver vinyl and black vinyl here. I just need to know do you want the mountains in the background and the van in front of them or what? That ambulance build is crazy man how heavy is that?
I was going to contact you man! My friend with the Pleasureway Van lives out of it 6 months a year for work. He got it lifted to do things like this on his free time. He isn't offended when I say this I told him you have one of my favorite vans. It's sort of posh looking but with the lift and light bar it's almost like a Urban Overlander! I told him now that you have camped and off roaded in it it is no longer a pavement princess. That's when I got the idea that we should make a badge/decal of honor for everyone who got their vans dirty! I will make a dedicated video about that! The 4x4 Ambulance is 12,000 pounds. My buddy is cool he said he spent all that money on it to do stuff like we did yesterday. He wants to figure out where is build can go for extended middle of nowhere camping trips.
@JohnDrivesAnything hey I'm down for making the decal badge I just need input. I'm going to play around with some designs here later on once I get done some of the stuff I'm working on right now. That ambulance conversion 12,000 lb holy smokes. I know when I get done with mine it's going to weigh more than it did Factory but hopefully not hugely over. I have good news about my build progress. Saturday we went and we managed to secure a heavy duty 1 ton frame for the build we got it back to the shop now it's just a matter of moving the drivetrain and everything from our donor van to that frame and then when we get the van back from being painted we're going to body swap and engine swap. It's a lot of work but it'll still be worth it
@@charlesartificer2158 I will make a video of my ideas next week and respond to your other idea too. I want to do a video to get feedback from people. I think it's time to do stickers/decals!

Your dog digged for 3 hours straight! Did she sleep good?
@1:52 looks a lot like where Symba was warned NOT to go! 😂 super cool view
It's like a mini grand canyon!
Nice rigs out there with you! Great views 🎬

285 75 16 tires on the 2wd lifted Van just short of a 33 inch tire running a Detroit trutrac. Air down and auto locker was easy work even with 2wd!
@@JohnDrivesAnything NOICE! I'm stoked for you guys. Hope to see you out there one day before next summer!
