Hi James!!! Glad to see you back on You tube! I alway learn something new with your videos! I do have a silly question, however, that I think you answered for me on e before, but I have forgotten..😳 Anyway, I am working on some small canvases (5x7, 6x6, etc.), and am unable to keep them stable on my large easel - I believe you had some way of putting screws into your easel to hold smaller canvases - not sure? Would really appreciate your expertise - thanks, Mary
Sir the painting looks like a watercolor like my dad would paint as a watercolorist. The effect is beautiful. I also can’t help but picture u as Mr Walter white from Netflix ‘breaking bad’ painting. Maybe in a parallel universe u r Mr white taking a break to paint?
😄 I'm not sure I'm quite as menacing as Mr White, but people have mentioned a resemblance. The actor is actually very close to my age and we attended neighboring high schools in Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley).
@ well guess I can say both of u guys are artists in different fields. Look forward to more TH-cam podcasts from your painting endeavor. I am painting gouache, pastel n oil now.
@ I am a 73 yr old master painter who has worked her ass off learning the basics of drawing into painting. And when I see someone like you taking the short cuts and teaching others that all you have is do is trace and slap some paint on, then you can call yourself an artist. BS! You have absolutely no idea what it is to be a real artist. Why don’t you take your photograph to Walgreens and have it put on a canvas and then paint on top of that? You are the perfect example of what is happening to quality in every facet of society. Think about this the next time you trace!
I love how you put down paint and wipe it back. The colors look transparent, like a wash. Beautiful atmosphere.
Thanks, glad you liked the glazing technique!
Very nicely done. Great demo.
Thank you kindly!
Thank you for uploading such a great painting video.
You’re welcome, I hope it was helpful in some way
Maravilhoso ❤❤❤
Wonderful method and great demonstration, I love the color harmony, thank you Master
Thank you for the kind words!

😊👌🙏
Did you trace that? That is cheating!!! And the subject is not interesting
Well, you’ve exposed me! I guess I’ll turn in my Official Artist Card to the appropriate authorities 🙂
