You're my favorite artist. I have a bunch of your work saved that I use as screen art. I thought you where a classic artist long gone. I just found you today. I am an amateur oil painter and find your work inspiring. Thanks for adding beauty to the world.
The Master at it again! I have two of your DVDs. If you can ever find it in your heart. A DVD on a painting portraits of people of color. I feel that it can be "trickier." Especially trying to keep portrait looking realistic.SALUTE! GOD BLESS! ( RET. VET.)
Thank you and Congratulations Maestro Daniel Gerhartz, your Art and Work of Art is diverse and impressive and wonderful for all of us while your Chanel video is motivating, exemplary and educational for anyone who wants to get closer to painting. Thank you.
Another take away for me is how loosely described you kept significant passages. Resisting the temptation to rework areas. The idea of spending the time on the palette not on the canvas.
Beautiful work. Enjoy the light you display in your paintings. I would be interested to hear your thoughts how how your approach your lighting design / setup
You are a selling artist. You can afford to hire models. Matt people are not in your situation. I suggest paint from models when starting. Work with friends to afford the model. As you progress you learn how to work from photographs. If you are well off and selling g, yes, paint from live models .
