Because back then it has less things to load, less processing power and ram to load everything. Now it takes alot more RAM and processing power because Roblox has added so many things, including background stuff to the app
if you open a bunch of random apps then open roblox it will be way less laggy because ios devices are designed to handle multiple apps at once, idk tho because i did this on an old ipad and it worked
The only reasonable explanation I can think of it running better after u reinstalled it is the cache data, when u deleted roblox the cache data got wiped and when u downloaded it again it had no cache data so that's why it's performance was much better

roblox runs well on iphone but only games with low need of ram like obbies. since from what i know iphone is way superior if you see by the cpu peformance but iphone has less ram, but since roblox are cpu dependant so most of lightweight roblox game will run on old iphone
The only reason iOS 9 isn't being supported by Roblox anymore is Apple: apple basically removed the ability to make updates to apps that support 32 bit os ( and ios 11 ) if it wasn't for apple's support, Roblox would've still ran on those devices.

I do still play Roblox in the Inspiron 14 3467 with a graphics level of 3 which makes my fans go so loud. I can barely get 60 FPS unless if there are a lot of persons
roblox was less RAM intensive back in 2020 due to the new 64-bit roblox version for anti-cheat, RAM has increased by around 4x the amount. Usually getting around 200MB usage on roblox before the 64 bit update to now usage of over 1GB or even 1.4GB of RAM usage.
I remember playing roblox on an old samsung phone (which btw had 3 different owners before me) and i dont even know if i can call this playing but it barely even ran. Even plugged in it ran worse than the 5s, it would only crash opening the avatar page (the one with the dressing room) and eventually i just got so frustrated and threw it to the ground breaking it, putting it out of its misery
Mine is a medium level phone and Roblox lags a lot, not counting the insane amount of times that the game simply freeze or disconnect, plus the heat on phone 💀
