I have more faith in a diesel engine like this as it will outlast a modern equivalent, no starter to go faulty, no electronic injection system, no ecu to fail. When I was first working in the UK building trade, the manual crank start diesel engines where being phased out, this is a wonderful piece of machinery and will probably last another 100 yrs if not over burdened.
