- This is a radio that can received all kinds of broadcast including shortwave stations, fire and ems, NOAA weather and podcasts to name a few and it not affected by weather conditions unless they are extreme at your location. Hi again Tom, You might have discovered that there is sort of a work around, if you want to play a station between the alarm times that you have set. First of all, power up the radio and tune to the station or preset that you want to be your "home station" and leave the power on. Now the Grace radio will revert to that station between alarms and after the alarms are over for the day. You can also set the sleep timer to shut off the radio at a predetermined time but, it has to be set each time that you want to use it. I hope that helps. +fredintheshed1 That is an interesting thought to see if I can a channel that monitors say 40 meters. Not likely but you never know what's out there on the internet. :)

Tom Great review. I have a Pure WIFI radio here downunder. Been using it for a while. However having problems playing the BBC stations of late. Can you do more videos in this radio at all.

I have this exact radio (Grace Mondo) in my kitchen, except a white one. I didn't know it received all that other stuff though. There is SO much available that it's very easy to miss good stations. I mostly use it to listen to local US east coast radio stations from where I grew up. It is a great radio, except when it's "buffering" alot...could just be my modem though. It needs alot more stations memory though. The previous model of Grace Radio was terrible for that buffering issue - so bad that I gave up on it.

Hello Tom, I just found out that the aggregator reciva that is used by Grace Digital and other companies, for there wifi internet radios, will be shut down on January 31, 2021. This will affect all reciva based radios. Grace Digital has set up there own servers that will continue to work with all there radios produced after 2017. All radios from 2009 to 2017 will stop working. Here is the problem. I use the alarms the same way that you do to switch to preset stations at a set time. The old Mondo and Primo, have seven alarms. the new models from Grace, only have five alarm settings. I really need all seven if possible. Do you know of any other company or product, that offers seven or more alarms? I have looked and I can't find any. I mite be able to use an app on android or ios that mite do what I want but, I rather not go that way. For more information, go to Grace Digital and Reciva web sites. I really enjoy your channel. Your camera is focusing on the reflections from the radio. This happens to me and a lot of people when they are video recording there aquariums. Maybe it might pickup less reflection if you put the camera at an angle from the radio.
+Ruben Thanks for the suggest. I have tried that before but will try again. I could never get video of my aquarium fish. Finally gave up. :)
