Congrats to Connor on passing the PE Structural! I also took and passed the PE Structural in April. It’s such a relief to know we won’t have to go through that process again. Great job on the video!
Congratulations to Connor on passing the exam! I failed the PE Structural this April and I feel so discouraged. I did the “300 hrs, 20 hrs/wk” method that so many engineers recommended and it just didn’t work for me. I have autoimmune problems, so all that work I ended up doing was making me sick and making it difficult to retain any information at all. Maybe I just need to accept that the exam is too much for someone with my health conditions. If anyone knows any alternative study methods I’d love to hear about it.
Civil PE is transitioning to CBT in the Spring of 2022, any tips on how to prepare for that? Know of anyone who has taken both pencil & paper and CBT versions in other disciplines?
Thank you for this Video, it helped me to build some confidence, I took Civil- structural this October, I did my best to not freak out on the PM portion :D ... Now waiting and stressing for the outcome, of course focusing on all questions I feel I answered wrong :P, I hope I will still pass...I need to do some yoga now...it is really hard to disconnect and just relax and wait for the results :(
Hey, I passed my PE exam (Texas), I got the required experience (masters and three years experience). Can you make a video explaining the process of applying for PE in Virginia, Maryland State

Congrats to you! I'm taking it in this upcoming October. What was your preparation strategy?
That is awesome!

Don't give up Kay... it happens to me. I work full time plus a family, plus I finished school on 2008.... I passed on the 3rd try.
Kay check out this video for inspiration th-cam.com/video/0h-7N-Dz8sk/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the kind words, I’ll try to keep my chin up. Hopefully some day, I can offer words of encouragement to someone else.
Now all the PE civil is computer based so unfortunately no books on the table for people trying to pass the exam in 2024
How many years you should work as an EIT before taking the exam?
I recommend taking it as soon as you can, depending on what your State allows.
Thanks
You're welcome Chaithanya.

Hello Jose, apologies for the late reply. We will be releasing a video on this topic soon.
