God bless you. I recently lost my job because of words I posted on social media. It was because of this I realised I need to follow His word and become a better person. He has sent me to watch your videos and I am going to church for the first time this Sunday.
Dr Barnett's sermon was really convicting to me when he said... if we're not bringing glory to God with our words, then we're a tool of Satan. WOW! That really put it in perspective for me... He also said he was teaching kids at camp about the power of their words and used a powder as an example. In the spoon, the powder was in one place, in one heap and easy to keep together. But the minute he blew it all over the floor and told the kids to pick it up, you couldn't... we can't take our words back once they are spoken! I know I just sometimes don't take the words I say seriously enough because once it's out, it's out. I can apologize or ask for forgiveness, but I can never take it back. This week was a really good reminder for me, and there is someone I need to apologize to because of it.
You are possibly one of the few woman that sees things exactly the way that I see them in regards to woman; in our role, calling, our design given to us woman by God. I’m blessed to listen to your videos and happy that we are in the same mind and Spirit in Christ! 🤍✨
Thank you for posting the scriptures you used as well! I really felt convicted with this video and wanted to put some of these around my house as reminders (and memorize them). So that's just what I needed! The Bible is our only source of truth. Am very glad to have stumbled upon your channel- I really love it!
We absolutely live in a "shameless " society. And if only EVERYONE would practice regular repentance..... Words are so powerful good or bad. I loved hearing these reminders,to help keep myself in check.
We may disagree on what appropriate fashion is 😆 but i appreciate this topic. Theres a sense of discipline when you are more aware of the words you use. And i find, when i hold my tongue, what usually follows is something that makes my family and me feel better or happier. Its less stress too.
I had to watch this a few times and now I have homework scriptures to read. This video was eye opening and I know everything is on God's timing, I only wish I would have had it years ago!
Thank you for sharing this study and the sermons. This is so timely for me as I have had a week of being convicted of things that have come out of my mouth and even some of my thoughts.
Hedi... When you mentioned yoga pants... There was no mention about the tops females wear where their boobs are hanging out of the tops...That looks sooo gross
I love how you mentioned applying this to all situations even if it's true. That was something I needed to hear. Definitely going to dive into scripture, be more aware and seek God to work in this area of my life. I see so much online bashing evil companies, true or not, this felt off to me. Pastor Barnett mentioned not listening to gossip. So addressing the things we speak but also what we chose to take in. Really eye opening.
Yes! Amen!!! I agree with you- the "bandwagons" to trash company A or B... they're all evil. They're all worldly! We shouldn't be surprised at the things that come from them. But how are we helping to just constantly be trashing them?! We'd have to boycott EVERYTHING at that point!
So good. So helpful. I've been convicted long before this but struggled and saw this in my feed and knew I needed it, and I did! Thank you for speaking God's truth in love. Be blessed.
Finally was able to watch this video, this is something I truly struggle with. Please keep me in prayers. Truly brought tears as I was convicted of how I do not bring Glory with my tongue at times and I usually say what I'm thinking if my emotions get the best of me 😢
I think we all need to be very careful not to slander someone (especially family) when using them as an example of what not to do. I know I can draw from my own mistakes all day long. Lol. There is much wisdom in Matthew 7:5.
I was taught a different definition of shame. But, go ahead & correct me if Im wrong. I was taught that "guilt" is very healthy and leads to Holy Spirit led repentance and change. But, "shame" is not healthy because it erodes at our true identity. Guilt is when you know your actions are aweful, evil, etc. Shame is when believe YOU are aweful, evil, etc. Shame is guilt (due to sinful behaviour) that is internalized (becomes identity). Satan causes shame by taking our guilt about our actions & says, "you will never change this is who you are." Am I totally wrong on this? ♥️🇨🇦
I agree, and maybe a lot of woman are home makers but they are actually not at home because they are, per say out of the home and in the world of social media. We are to be awake . . . 14Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians5: 14-16
Oh gosh so many good things! I used to be a running commentary. Still have an opinion on things only now I can quickly catch what I’m thinking and bring it captive (MOST OF THE TIME) versus spewing it all out. Ew ew ew!!! I can say No! wrong thought, ugly thought, Lord help me with my first thoughts that are so contrary to your word! Where before I didn’t even think anything was wrong with it! Oy vey it’s actually embarrassing. On my way to Costco yesterday I was in the middle of an unkind thought about the driver ahead and what came to mind? Out of one side of your mouth you praise God and the other you curse the very people that were made in His image MAY IT NOT BE SO! (That was my paraphrase I don’t have it memorized yet!) and I stopped. Mid thought. What a wonderful gift the Holy Spirit is….
Thank you for the insights.I needed them. However I noticed that you use the O my Gosh/goodness/word a lot. Would you kindly consider their usage as they seen irreverent. Thank you
I know some people certainly feel convicted that way with the expression of "oh my gosh"- I also know that I have no root in my heart that means "oh my gosh" as anything negative. I do apologize if my use there caused you to be upset. 🥰 29 I do not mean our conscience, but his. For why should my liberty be determined by someone else’s conscience? 30 If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced because of that for which I give thanks?31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved. -- 1 Corinthians 10:29-33
Hey hon! When you join the collective (clicking the "Join" button) it will open up posts for you on the community tab. Go to any of those 'members only' posts (the one's I've been posting for "Walk in Faith 🌻") and you'll have the private class links in there. Go to the class page for 'Being A Grace Energized Woman', and click "► Class Materials" to open that toggle and access the printables! 🥳 Hope that helps! XO
Everything that is for the edification of the body of Christ should be free. Charging is indirectly making the house of God or the Body of Christ a “house of merchandise”… not biblical and something for you to think about when your charging to edify our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ
God's word states, In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel. My family and I serve in ministry full time- we have worked, without a paycheck, for the past 5 years trusting the Lord to provide as we work unto Him. One way that we do that is through putting together countless materials, resources, teachings, curriculums, etc... and offering them to people- literally around the world. We offer a special group here, on top of the couple thousand videos, with small group teachings, direct materials and more. We did so at the request of our viewers as they loved a way to be able to donate to the ministry so that we can keep doing what we're doing. You can get "all the extras" for $4.99. I'm not here to "sell something". The study is free, materials are free, teachings are free- but we are allowed to offer things that can help us to keep the electricity on so we can keep creating and serving. Hate to see such a serious task as encouraging and equipping one another, as well as our amazing community here, get belittled in something like "you had me until you tried to sell something". I offered an additional resource. On top of the hundreds of videos here (for free) that go along with these topics. the ox doesn't have to be muzzled, let's remember that those serving faithfully in ministry can receive some provision to keep working as well. 🙏🏼 It's there to be a blessing and a tool- and the value received FAR outweighs the cost-- that has always been a priority for us. 1st Corinthians 9:7-14 -- Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk? Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? For it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? If others share this rightful claim on you, do not we even more? Nevertheless, we have not made use of this right, but we endure anything rather than put an obstacle in the way of the gospel of Christ. Do you not know that those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel.

Amen- isn't that a powerful image?! It really is SO important to look at our words... and where those words are coming from. Very convicting indeed!
Do you have a link to Dr. Barnet 's sermon?

Yes and same, Thank you! 🤍✨
WOW…. I needed to hear this. I gossip and I let words rip right out of my mouth. I need to work on this big time.
So guilty of not bridling my tongue. I definitely need Gods help with this! Thank you again for the work you do in your ministry!!
Love this!! You did great in this video. I want to watch this every day. Thank you!

Sharon Jaynes wrote a book "The Power of a Woman's Words" and it's powerful.
I had to watch this a few times and now I have homework scriptures to read. This video was eye opening and I know everything is on God's timing, I only wish I would have had it years ago!
I have recently been struggling with this and coming back and growing in my faith this has been the hardest thing so far.
No excuse! Yes! Keep practicing and giving ourselves to the Lord, He does the work in us! Thank you Jesus!
Thank you for sharing this study and the sermons. This is so timely for me as I have had a week of being convicted of things that have come out of my mouth and even some of my thoughts.
All glory to God! Don't you just love how He works in our lives? That's amazing- so glad we could get to connect in this space! XO
There’s a lot more here than just being a gossip. Convicting for sure.
AMEN! I think,m again, we might look at this week's topic and go "Yup, I'm good here." and then we dig in.... and it looks like this: 🙈🙊
Hedi... When you mentioned yoga pants... There was no mention about the tops females wear where their boobs are hanging out of the tops...That looks sooo gross
Yep, no asterisks in God's Word. Meaning, no excuses. So convicting! 😔 Forgive me Lord and refine me. For your glory! 🙌

Thank you. Needed to hear this. 🙋🏼♀️🇦🇺
ALL glory to God! XOXO
Arent we accountable for every thing we think? Its not just actions and words spoken, correct?
1,000%! The thoughts are the moment before the word or action.

The part about explain why the joke is funny really hit me, because I'll usually say that well its just a joke.
I'm convicted
Amen- so thankful for the Spirit's conviction! It is a great blessing! (((hugs)))

It's so fun seeing her so little in these! 😅
Does this study you're doing go along with his book Grace Energized Women? Or is that just inspiration but your study is seperate?
