What a cool car. While watching this I headed over to their website and it appears one can still buy this, or at least some iteration thereof. I’ll tell you one thing…I was NOT prepared for the price tag. This might have to be the Christmas present for myself this year
Thank you for the compliments! The car was very costly to produce at first. This was a ground up reproduction that was challenging to say the least. However, please expect a box kit edition of this car available at a better price tag in the near future. The prices for the RX4 that are on the website today are for a complete assembled buggy with paint and decals; a complete out the door setup.
@@RubrixRacingwell that’s wonderful news! The build part of it is really the part I enjoy the most. I will be watching closely to see how this shakes out.
@@quietrc I ended up talking with Ruben through email in a few exchanges. And yes, he confirmed what you just said, prices will be reflected in an unbuilt kit version. I am very much looking forward to grabbing one of these. I fear I might be like you though, and find it difficult to run it right away. They really are something to look at.
I got the first Rubrix EVO in Australia it's terrific.
That's awesome
What a beauty 😮 I like the 4 x 2 nicd cells setup, never had a car with this disposition 👀 Well done, Rob 👏🤝
That 4x2 set up adds a little specialness to it, I think.
Finally! Great run down on the RX4. We're lucky to have guys like Ruben helping keep the dream alive 😎
Agreed!
Thank you Sir 🙏 humbling to hear
Beautiful car! Thanks for sharing it Rob.
Thanks for sharing the MX-4 Forever!
I think building a shelf queen is looking back. Racing the vehicle is going back.
Nothing wrong doing it either way, or just driving for fun.
Interesting way to look at it!
So cool! I just got hold of the YZ-10 Super Dog Fighter from 1994 in really good condition 🙂
Very cool!
I like how you pointed to the flappy disk at the end of the video
Truly vintage

Also, just as a side note…I really like your presentation and style. I thoroughly enjoy watching your vids

I know for sure the prices have come down from when I got it awhile back. So Rubrix is headed in the right direction.

It's "Hiro sa KA", somehow you're pronouncing it as it was spelt with a "ki" at the end lol.
If you watch the video, you'll see that I have a notation of my mispronunciation. Talking is hard sometimes.
