New from the Epiphone Modern Collection is the Les Paul Classic. This certainly has the classic 50s look we know and love but is packed with a number of excellent modern features. Grover Tuners keep your strings in place and a Graph Tech Nut is another excellent attribute. A pair of Alnico Classic Pros deliver all of your tonal needs while coil-splitting and phase switching open up even more options. If you have always wanted to own one of the most popular guitar models in the world, this a great choice given all of the player friendly appointments included here.
Have a listen and let us know what you think! 🤓

3:12 Man, that technique! This guy is truly amazing
Guy's got chops for days - that's why we love him for these juicy demos! :)
Seriously. Especially those pinch harmonics...quite tasty!
Priyantha Fernando Cheers man! 😊🤘
This is what you call a demo!!
Am a strat player but just bought one of these, absolutely love it.
Wow. Epiphone has really stepped up their game for this year.
They actually started in 2018
True that Eloy! A cracking release from them! 😍🙌
Preciosa guitarra.. Epiphone de ahora son muy buenas y no envidian en nada a otras mucho mas caras..
Gracias por subir el video
un saludo
Nice guitar and great player man
Great playing, great sounds, and I need to quit being a guitar snob and buy this Epiphone Classic!
I did it.. But I bought an Ebony Custom.
@@TheBLSCamo what's wrong with the classic
Gotta be the best bang for buck guitar on the market.
Gitta like if you know him
The boy can play !!!
I think the Classic worn looks better with matt finish
the worn finished ones dont have the same features coil tap etc
from what i have seen
@@zuzzyrich epiphone lists they have the same pickups so probably just needs a wiring harness or pot change but the worn finish does sell for 50$ less new so if you like the color and don't mind a little wiring, why not
The Worn Series has coil-splits.. The only differences are no CTS electrics & no phase-switching on the Worn models
no, no ,no... you`re an incredible, incredible, incredible player!!!!!!
I want to buy this guitar because I want guitar like Yui from anime K-on and Gibson is too expensive.
Me too 🤣👍
BRUHHHH LITERALLY SAME
But she got so cheappppp
@@seanvincentazada743 lmao she got one for like 50,000 yen
@@pandman1 it was a vintage Gibson Les Paul from the 50’s, it was 250,000 yen ($2,500 usd) then Tsumugi got the price lowered to 50,000 yen ($500 usd)
Where are these talents in the music scene?
love mine, i think people are sleeping on this model.
Amazing! This one is real stunner. The new release from Epiphone has been mega 😎
I own 6 top model Epiphone LP models including this one.
All are made between 2018 and 2020.
They are all great guitars but I invested in a new Graphtech Tusq XL nut on all of them except the 2 2020 models which include this one. Epiphone finally is using a quality and (self lubricating) nut that is also set up much better in height.
The others were extremely high causing bad intonation and playibility and would also bind the string causing horrible tuning stability
No problem on the 2020 models !!
They are using Graph Tech nuts and setting them properly too.
This guitar is an A+
how does the color look in person? I can't decide which one to get Heritage Cherry or Honeyburst
@@Popcorn-Smuggler
It will boil down to your own tastes.
I haven't seen a newer Epiphone that doesn't have a great finish job.
The wood grain, stain color, ect is up to you. But the finish itself will be deep and lustrous regardless.
@@Popcorn-Smuggler it looks great in person it has a little bit of a darker tint cherry burst for mine. but there are some with brighter but i like it a bit darker so it doesn't look like a clown burst. go to sweetwater and look at the pictures and see which one you like better
OK I’m in love with the guitar 😍
It sure is a beauty! Sounds awesome, looks awesome. What's not to like?
GUITARGUITAR Agreed
Is this a goods beginners guitar??? Any suggestions
I think it is more than good if your a beginner, i started with an ibanez gio, it’s like 100 dolars or less, and i want to buy this epi
So you are going yo have a great guitar for a long time
I wonder if they sell SGs?
Yea but only one or two colors
Playing very well as a gibson, ordinaries people won't see difference.
Could you tell us the pedal/amp configuration for both tones ?. So i can imagine how much cost really that sound. Thanks in advance.
Does Epiphone Les Paul make a wide necked Epiphone Les Paul 100?
Nice 🤘
Should I get this? I’m also considering a blackstar v2 20 with this...
Yes & yes
Did ya get both? How’d it work out?
Why is the background full of SG's in a video about a Les Paul? Disturbing...
😅
I believe it's called sg Epiphone porn
When did you achieve the title of ‘background police’ 😂
@@bobbillnolan7644 it's a joke.😋😜😝
Roger Cardenas : it certainly is, some of these comments 😳 Jesus 😂
Does it have the epiphone quick connect system ?
Yes !
Does its sound really good?
You hear it here... Trust your ears and not eyes.
@@Bandmaster1980 OK thanks, think to buy after this.
@@franklespaul7150 I recommend trying Gibson Les Paul Tribute - slightly more expensive but sounds way fuller.
Epiphones neck and body is built from many pieces which limits resonation.
Gibsons have one or two piece body and always one-piece neck.
Go to the store and play both - you'll see what is right for you.
@@Bandmaster1980 lmao the tribute is junk !!! Literally fire wood garbage . Also made from several pieces of wood and if you knew anything you would know that makes it’s MORE stable so plz stop giving bad advice..
If they put a real maple top on this range, they would be amazing
they do w/ the 50's/60's classic series
According to Epi's website, these aren't flame-maple veneers or photo tops, but plain maple. Hopefully "plain maple" means solid maple and not a ply.
@@DouglasRosser I hope so, I have an ebony one coming in a few days so I guess i'll find out
@@DouglasRosser They are solid maple tops.
@@Pulse2AM yes true
Just got one. Dissapointing. Finish in places was not great. Rough fret ends which is a no no. Yeh this can be fixed but why should I have to on a brand new guitar? Needs some action adjustment as a little fret buzz on one string. Selector switch crackles on movement. However, sharp frets and poor finish in places has put me off this guitar. Will be sending it back. Can now see why it's in the cheaper bracket, corners have been cut.
do they always look this bright? i hate how dark they look in product photos but it looks gorgeous here. is it the worn one?
They don’t look dark at all on sweetwater
Maple cap, with veneer, o,r just thin veneer on this one?
Maple cap
Decent thickness of maple, see 7:20 into Trogly Epiphone Classic Les Paul in Worn Purple.
Guitar Guitar wow what an original name. How did you come up with that? You must have really been inspired guys.
Yeah, it just kinda came to us... 🤪
Says Purple Haze 😂
@@mat900ft 🤣🤣🤣
Is this a classic?? In epiphone page it says classic doesnt come with coil-splitting
What's the profile on the neck? a C or a D?
Think it’s a c
It’s a u
Fuck. Bye bye, tax return. It was nice knowing ya!
Haha! 😂
Okay but more clean tones and chords would have been more useful.
Shit son
