2002 was my Sophomore year at Ohio State... that season, those games, and being a student in the midst of it all. There was so much empty news and hot air speculation about what happened to Maurice that I just couldn't believe anything they said about it. I'm so glad and in so many ways relieved to see the story come into clarity for me, but more importantly that Maurice is doing ok.
Great vid, great voice on the subject. Thank you.

Thank You for telling Maurice's story so objectively. He was an idol of mine during his short college career because I'm an OSU fanatic and during his downward spiral, was viciously attacked on all sides with unending character and racial slurs. He was just a kid, literally, trying to find his way without ever having any paternal support. His coaches failed him as well. It's obvious to me he is and was a highly intelligent person and gifted athlete lost in the world with no true support system, just sycophants out to use him. I wish nothing but the best for Maurice and hope this video enlightens some of his haters.

I love these videos. I stopped watching football after not missing a Greenbay Game the first 25 from my early teenage years of my life. The only game I missed on TV was Brett Favres game against the Raiders after his Dad died, but heard it on the radio driving across the country in a move.
The politics in football in the last 4 years have made me lose all interest. I didn’t know if I was watching ESPN or CNN
Anyways your videos are giving me the itch. Thanks, I’m thinking I’ll give it a shot again this year, I miss the Green and Gold.

Very informative and prepared for well. I like that you don't automatically take the player's side and you don't take the college's side. The truth lies somewhere in between and you put the info out there with no spin. Thank you for that. Keep up the good work. Haters hate... believers believe... God bless you for realizing that! Peace

I find it interesting that the comments seem to contain as much praise of the content creator Flemlo as it does discussion about the videos subject. It really says something about how good he is. I think the real draw to his content is the statements he makes on life, perseverance, overcoming adversity, etc. The individual players just provide a backdrop for him to deliver an underlying and consistent message of inspiration, warning, positivity, and success. I really like this dudes video style. It’s hard to find good character in the world. And you can tell by the way he frames the stories in his videos that he has some really solid character. The ability to communicate that clearly is an incredible talent to have. And whatever “it” is. Flemlo has it

I agree with Aydo Mac! You should be producing videos for ESPN or other first rate sports documentary companies! You have the ability to communicate compassion for the player by explaining the struggles driving their harmful behaviors. Then you walk the viewers through the redemption process. When he stumbled at the end, you put it into perspective! Amazing work!
