I was also looking for the perfect wireless headset, hs80, g pro x2, nova pro, maxwell, etc. I watched hundreds of videos about them. Money was not an issue, I was gonna buy any of them that gave me exactly what I wanted, but all of them had cons I couldnt take.
So then I thought, why do I want wireless?
Im used to play with cheap wired headset, and once I get the hang of it I forget about the cable 10 seconds after starting playing.
So why not stick with wired? There must be some premium sounding wired headsets out there, I thought.
And then I heard about the pc37x, pc38x, h3 hybrid, and the ones I finally bought: the magnificent h6pros ❤

I don't think it is worth upgrading to the H3PRO Hybrid from the H3. If you want to takes calls then I understand why you would upgrade, but other than that, it's not worth it. The H3 is a very good headset.

There is one big difference worth to mention between the H3pro hybrid and the other two headsets and thats the 2.4 GHz connectivity.
A 2.4 GHz connection has a latency of 30 to 60 ms which is significantly faster then a normal bluetooth connection with a 300 to 400 ms latency.
Most people would think thats not much and Yes thats not much if you listen to music or browsing the internet but in games a delay of almost a half second is alot.

Nice video, I was looking for a good pair of wireless gaming headset, but It is being frustrating cause there are many options and everyone has different opinions on every headset, I am looking for a headset with good bass that really make feel that I am in the game, and also something really comfy for a big head, I had the hyperx cloud 2, I really liked how the 7.1 immersion feels but It was not clear sound, than I changed to the HS80 wireless, but were too small for my head, even though the audio was better in my opinion, I dont get enough bass or immersion in the game, I was planning to get h3pro hybrid, cause I saw some reviews and they said that they were better than Astros a50, Inzone H9 etc, but know I discovered the H6PRO but I dont know if they have that bass and that immersion that I am looking for, Do u have any other headset in mind with those aspects?

    • @District.24
      @District.24  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Too much bass can muddy your mids. If you want bass and clarity then you want the H6PRO. If you’re a bass head, I don’t think the H6PRO will make you happy, because the only thing that makes a bass head happy is strapping subwoofers to the sides of their heads. Start with the H6PRO, and if the bass is not satisfying enough try an Astro - they have lots of bass (and crap everything else).

I have the H3hybrids and they have issues.
    1. The headset stops working if you leave it charging over night. I opened a support ticket with EPOS and their lab was able to reproduce this issue and are working on a fix.
    2. My headset randomly disconnects and reconnects. Really annoying especially for the price.
    3. The headset randomly powers off and takes hours of sitting idle to power on again.
    4. After a year of owning them they refuse to power on anymore. EPOS won't warranty them or replace them, which is a shame.
I absolutely baby my electronics. I keep them clean and I take very good care of them. This is not an issue with mishandling them.
The sound quality and mic are fantastic. Sound stage is lacking as they are closed back.
Comfort is top notch. I can game for 8+ hours on a day off and never feel fatigue or pain or discomfort. I have a large head and dumbo ears that stick out and my ears never touch the driver walls. The headset is light and the clamping force is perfect for maintaining a seal but not squeezing my head. Battery life is easily all day and they charge quickly.
If it wasn't for the 3 issues above, these would be, hands down, the best wireless headset on the market.

@@District.24 it starts to get very confusing. I just purchased the h3 hybrid for $130 in Canada on a half-price sale. I am coming from cloud Alpha s wired headset. I don't mind wired but the idea of a wireless for the same price as the h6 pro that allows me to connect to two sources was compelling. However I would rather have the better sounding headset and spend the difference as I don't replace headsets often. That is why I asked. If the h3 and the h3 hybrid sound the same as the 86 pro it probably doesn't make any sense for me too switch. What do you think?

If you fully watch my videos on the H3 and the H3PRO Hybrid, you will then know which one I preferred. I didn’t enjoy my H3PRO Hybrid experience, but I did enjoy the H3.

@@District.24 I did fully watch your video. A number of times. My point is that they have too many variations of product with only slight changes when they should narrow their product line down. I ended up keeping the h3 hybrids and ordering the green h6 pro with the amp bundled in as well. Thanks for your time.

The question is : Is the H3PRO Hybrid the best wireless headset ? ... If we compare with Logitech and others ?

The Corsair HS80 had fewer problems than my copy of the H3PRO Hybrid. Keeping those issues in mind, I would recommend the HS80 over the H3PRO Hybrid.

Wired is usually better if you’re talking about performance. Usually.

Thanks so much for your review. I'm glad to hear you mention the SHP9500's. These are my current cans with a vmoda boom pro for mic. Do you mind if I ask how you find the H6Pro vs the SHP's?

The H6PRO has more bass than the SHP9500. The SHP is definately brighter and more flat. The H6PRO has superior imaging and better mids. The SHP have a fun vibe, that everyone enjoys, but it can't compare to the H6PRO as a FPS centric gaming headset.

Thank you! Here on Christmas i got a H6pro. I had a Logitech wireless headset before that. I’m so happy to have found this video because the h6 was worth it!
